  1. Hello averyone, Need help again: I have installed SimBrief/Baggelis mod in PHPvms but it doesn't appear anywhere in PHPvms pages. Is there anything alse to do in order to activate this option in PHPvms ?? Thanks for your help. Alex
  2. Well, nobody reported any malfunction from the system. It seems that register function is ok. At least on my side...
  3. Yes, one of my member installed PHPvms and then customized the language to have it in french. I know that he just replaced english words by french one only. Is it due maybe because of the version of PHPvms that is little bit old??
  4. Ok, then there is absolutely no layout file of any kind in those folder...
  5. I have a layout.php located in /phpvms/admin/lib/layout is it this one??
  6. Hi guys, Thanks for your help. Unfortunately there is no "layout.tpl" file in the skin folder (or anywhere else). I have indeed the crystal folder but not this file. I have also the folder containing my VA's skins (folder called "AirInter") but no layout.tpl either. Any idea ?
  7. Hello, I am trying to install SimBrief module from Baggelis mod. On install instruction: 5. Add this line before </head> tag in layout.tpl <script type="text/javascript" src="<?php echo fileurl('lib/js/simbrief.apiv1.js');?>"></script> The problem is that I don't find the "layout.tpl" file in PhpVms neither in SimBrief file. I've search in all folders without any result. Could someone be kind to tell me where is this file?? Thanks a lot for your help. Alex
  8. Hello y'all, My DB is hosted by a very nice and generous member as my provider does not support InnoDB. I would like to try to have it hosted by my provider and he gave me some info as how to do it. The requirement for PHPVMS to work is: PHP 5.2+ MySQL 4.1+ with InnoDB support All is ok for my provider except the InnoDB support but he told me that it is possible to have the InnoDB converted in something called Myisam. He said also that everything should work just fine after the conversion. My questions are: - Is it true that the DB can be converted in this format? - Is it true that PHPVMS will work just fine after the conversion? Thanks for your help. Alex
  9. No answer yet so I am taking the opportunity to ask another question: Is it possible to make a different timetable for each company as for the fleet instead of having only one timetable for all subsidiary? If yes, how? Thanks, Alex
  10. Hello everyone, I think I have the same kind of question: I have one main VA with 2 subdivisions within 1 PHPVMS system. I would like to have a particular fleet for each airline. At this time all 3 airline are sharing exactly the same fleet and we cannot make the difference between which airplane belong to which company. Is there a way to assign each particular airplane to one particular company instead of the actual sharing? Sincerely, Alex
  11. Hello Nabeel, Thanks for the quick reply. Actually I don't think it is a bug, it's just me I think that is not setting the expenses the proper way. That is way I wanted to hear other people settings to compare and make the proper correction. I just didn't know where to put this post sorry. Feel free to move it to another place if you need it. Thanks, Alex
  12. Hello, I am not sure that I am posting this new thread on the right place. It's been almost a year now that I am using PhpVms and I am quite happy with this system. The only problem is that I have a hard time to setup an accurate and realistic as possible finances. Here is what I did: Catering: €2376 Per Flight Flight Crew (virtual) Salary: €642.95 Per Flight Ground Crew salary: €243.6 Per Flight Insurances: 9% Percent (per flight) Airplane leasing: 12% Percent (per flight) Location bureaux: 7% Percent (per flight) Eurocontrol taxes: 2% Percent (per flight) Airports costs/taxes: 6% Percent (per flight) Marketing costs: 5% Percent (per flight) Maintenance costs: 9% Percent (per flight) General operating costs: 5% Percent (per flight) Salary taxes: €47.64 Per Flight Ground assistance + provision for de-icing: 2% Percent (per flight) Training costs: 2% Percent (per flight) Total yearly pilots (member) bonus: €18334 Monthly Flight provision: 2% Percent (per flight) Board of comitee salaries: 1% Percent (per flight) Considering that the ticket prices are set based on each flight by the time the plane need to reach destination: 1.76666 euros per minute of flight. We are only flying flight in France or western europe (Based on the real company Air Inter which doesn't exist anymore). So average everyday flights are between 1.0 to 2.0 hours with some exceptions (rare) flights between 3.0 to 8.0 hours. The fuel prices are set between 0.88 euros/liter (0.74/kg) to 1.60 euros/liter (1.344/kg). Pilots (members) salary settings: between 71.43 euros/hour to 214.28 euros/hour. So, I never found proper settings to make an average financial result. It's either becoming very rich very fast or loosing money all the time (if I try to modify the above elements). Is there anyone who can give me advice and/or corrections to setup more precise expenses (and as real as possible)?? Your help will be greatly appricated. Also, it would be nice to be able to setup some expenses per passengers insted of per flight or percent, will be nice for catering, taxes, etc... And maybe also for extra cargo load (revenue and expenses). Thanks for your help. Alex
  13. Hello Nabeel, Any possibilities to add "per hour of flight" and "per passenger" in the expenses option when setting up an expense in the next version?? Would be useful for exemple: meal (per pax), aircraft maintenance (per hour), etc... Thanks, Alex
  14. Hi Nabeel, Yes, that would be great if you can add the field (date) as what about the monthly expenses? Ex: flight done on the 31st of the month and the PIREP filed on the 1st of the next month... As for the time, I think the best way to do it is to enter the time in zulu time (UTC) in the PIREP. Like that the system will be able to know if the flight was much longer that expected and then it will be able to apply penalty (optional penalty would be good and also option to set the amount of time exceeded before applying penalty). Alex
  15. Here I go, again... Some questions concerning the PIREP system: - How does the system recognize the date the flight was done (without using FsAcars)? Ex: If I have made a flight yesterday but I file the PIREP only tomorrow, which date it will take into consideration? Depending the answer, would it be possible to include that in phpVMS in the next release?? - Same question about the departure and arrival time. We have to indicate the flight time but not the departure and arrival time? Would it be possible to include an option (that we can switch ON or OFF for each route as desired) on the next release with a possible penalty (money wise) if the flight is late by a certain amount of time? As it is in real life sometime. Thanks, Alex
  16. Hello Nabeel, We have found the problem. It was a wrong coding of the website adress who was making all the trouble (probably during install or when declaring the staff into the admin group). For any reason the website adress was coded without "www" between http:// and the rest of the adress thus not being able to make the system work as normal. We have corrected manually the adress throught the pertinent page and now they can finally access the admin page. Thanks for your help. Alex
  17. Yep that's what I meant, to show it on the briefing page within phpVMS. As for the Flight Simulator well, this is not very important as a lot of aircraft got their own loading program but would be good to know what to insert in them. So, are you planning to make it appear on the briefing page or do I have, as you said, to mod the page myself? Alex
  18. Yes that's good for us at this time as we have a fleet based of 75 aircraft (19 types)!! So I used a fictive aircraft called by the name of the company for all the routes (1012 routes!) and add on remark that the choice of aircraft is left to the pilot. One idea that would be great is to have the load factor % capacity when biding to be able to load the actual aircraft accuratly in Flight Simulator to really simulate the actual load factor given by phpVMS. Is this would be possible or too hard to implement? Keep up with the hard work. Much appreciated... Alex
  19. Hello Nabeel, Well that's what I thought. I think it might be a wonderful option to have kind of a button to select whether the whole fleet should be used for every single route or not (or something like that). Especially useful for the maintenance of the aircrafts. I understood that it is not yet implemented but that you are working on it right? That would be fantastic to have aircraft being grounded for maintenance (all kind of typical real maintenance with associated expenses and at the right intervals). Alex
  20. Hello, I would like to add all the fleet on each route flown, is there any option to do that automatically without having to write the very same route all over again for every aircraft?? Ex: If I have 3 Aircraft: A320 with reg: N123, N456, N789 And if I am creating route from point A to point B Flight UAL007 Then Do I really have to write 3 route insted of one with all 3 reg? ex: A to B UAL007 N123 A to B UAL007 N456 A to B UAL007 N789 I am asking that because I have a real fleet listing with 22 different aircraft type and each type got between 10 to 20 reg... Thanks, Alex
  21. PM sent... Donation too... ;D
  22. Hello, We tried without the frame in IE and Firefox in full page mode without any luck again... 3 more questions: I have a doubt about setting the fuel in the Pirep. Should I put Kg or Lit?? I explain: At airport the fuel price is most probably base on Lit or gals but it would be easier for my pilots to put quantity used in Kg (or lbs) in Pirep. So, does the program make the conversion Lit to Kg or Gals to Lbs?? If yes it would be in standard atmosphere I suppose?? If no then how can the system can calculate Gals (lit) with Lbs (kgs)?? Second question: Just need confirmation about the time format in Pirep. Is it in 60th of hours or 100th of hours?? Mean that on exemple given in Pirep it is specified: 5.3 for 05h30 So did you really mean 5.3=05h30 or did you mean 5.3=05h20? 3rd question: The Doc on your web site state that the load factor is 72% but on the local.config file it appear 82% Is it normal? or did you modify that on the latest version? Thanks, Alex
