  1. Currently, no it is not. Our entire PIREP system has been manual. While it works well, we want to use an acars system and automate what we can.
  2. Thanks! I was kind of hoping I was right. We have already disabled the lock out to prevent problems.
  3. Thanks for your reply servatas. Understand what you say here. The boarding Pass is a novelty. I don't think it will get used. I want to know how the bidding process and the schedule system interact to a positive outcome. Does the bidding process in some way add something to the scheduling. We have been using a manual bid type process for years, and a manual PIREP system. So the Pilot requests a flight from dispatch, dispatch then gives the Pilot a Departure Release, Pilot fly's route and files PIREP, Dispatch processes it. When we get ready to move over to phpVMS and use an Acars system, then the bidding process can either be used or not. Or that is my understanding of it anyway.
  4. OK, you can stop laughing now! I've searched these forums on bids, bids process, bids not working, and read the documentation section. That gives me 117 or so possibilities but no answers. In real life a pilot bids a flight he wants to fly. If accepted he then fly's it and gets paid. Or at least that is my understanding of it. In phpVMS you can either enable that bided route to be available to only the bidder, or to all. I have some questions. 1. Specifically, what is the benefit of using bids? 2. How does it tie into the schedule system to enhance it? 3. How have you implemented it? Thanks! Rodney
  5. Lots of views and no answers. Here are some things i have tried. Took all files associated with registration and used them to make new modules/templates/dataclass to add a pilot. Issues are; 1. Captcha; I haven't found out how to remove it successfully to allow to submit. 2. While i can get the form in the admin area only, it was difficult to remove the already logged in test. 3. Renamed all the auto email files extensions so they don't work, don't mind the errors it throws. But a better option is to remove those completely. I'm close!
  6. Kyle, Thanks for making this module and distributing it. For those that are not getting a table to enclose their data, use <table width="100%" border="1px" align="center"> in your index.tpl where <table align="center" is.
  7. I know how to do that. But the question is rather, Is it possible for only admins to do this? I would think that it is but there are issues. The registration form checks to see if you are not logged in. Well you are, your the admin. The registration form has captcha and won't submit without it. Admins don't need that. I don't care to capture a users IP during registration (or in my case when admins add a user). I have read post after post about registration and no one has even hinted toward an answer. Thanks!
  8. Thank You Tom! That was my fix also. Just one page not showing correctly. Drove me batty! I checked line-by-line of the original install files to mine to see if anything was amiss and it wasn't. but commenting out that line did the trick for me also.
  9. I think what I did was simply rename the local.config.php to .bak and tried it again. It wrote the correct one and then it's off to the race!
