Administrators Nabeel Posted September 30, 2013 Administrators Report Share Posted September 30, 2013 That looks like your database credentials were likely incorrect

vcal
That looks like your database credentials were likely incorrect I can't even start the install. No matter where I put it. This is the 'patched' version.
mw308
In case this is still happening to anyone (and for my personal reminder) this seems to be currently due to a non-empty local.config.php file included with the install zip. Delete/recreate and all is well.

vcal
I got this message from my host as I am still having major issues getting this to work properly.... Please check that the software is capable of actually running on PHP version 5.4.19, it appears its been coded for PHP 4 which is now being dropped by website hosts. He has updated to the latest version. Also...... The developer is essentially trying to make use of a variable ($_FILES) within his code in a way he shouldn't be so it's kicking off. This appears to be a well known problem for this software package based on my google searches. Clarification please.

Administrators simpilot Posted October 25, 2013 Administrators Report Share Posted October 25, 2013 Access denied for user 'vcalorgu_spork'@'localhost' (using password: YES) You have the wrong username and/or password combination for the database or possibly the wrong address (localhost) by the looks of it.
