5SA CEO Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Hi, I am new here, I have with the help of dunnies guide got phpVMS up and running, I have added my fleet of aircraft now to start on the airports, but that the issue. I go to add the airport enter the ICAO 'EGKK' then click look up and nothing, so enter the details manually takes a while. then click hub then 'add airport' and I get an error message 'there was an error adding this airport' what am I missing? Thanks Dean 5SA CEO http://5starvirtualaviation.com/ Quote
Moderators mark1million Posted January 23, 2011 Moderators Report Posted January 23, 2011 Hi, the lookup should be working, just check that the coordinates are in the correct format or you will get that error. Quote
5SA CEO Posted January 23, 2011 Author Report Posted January 23, 2011 Hi, Thanks, I checked the geonames.org for the details and entered them as they were there, but still getting the error and the look up is not doing anything. Very odd Deano Quote
dale0404 Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 Did you get this sorted out mate? Quote
5SA CEO Posted February 6, 2011 Author Report Posted February 6, 2011 Hi, after much time spent trying, no I could not get it to add the airports. I went and checked what I had done and it showed the fleet had been added and then also some of the airports, but they were not showing on the airport list. I do not have time to deal with it right now as having to study for an exam so its going to have to wait ro just give up on it or get some one else to do it all for me and modify the site to fit our va. Administrators Nabeel Posted February 9, 2011 Administrators Report Posted February 9, 2011 Give it some time, sometimes that lookup server goes down if it's getting hit with a lot of traffic Quote
