Sorry i have not used that forum before but you could use pure sql to extract what you want.

Im sure someone will have the code here somewhere for the latest posts, come to think of it i think Nabeel used to run that forum and they have quite a few working examples on the smf site.

smf includes a file called SSI.php in their package that allows connection from outside sources.
