Sava Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 You should get a legal version of XenForo or use a free BB software.... Your board says Nulled by VietXF on the bottom... 2 Quote

Id like to point out that yes it is nulled. Sava did not need to point it out. It was not necessary. However id like to point out that it was my choice. I dont see what Sava said as constructive criticism, but rather negative criticism that is unnecessary. 2 Quote
Stealthbird97 Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 I like your use of Boot Strap. Good Job on that. But needless to say, What Sava and Vansers have pointed out is correct and you are wrong. Your site is breaking the law. I would suggest taking down your forums before someone reports you for having propitiatory software to which you do not own a licence that gives you the right to use it. This doesn't look good for you or the real JAL, who may revoke your rights to use their trademarks if they see you performing such illegal activity under what is effectively their name. As well as that you would also be in breach of your Web Hosts (ZYMA.COM)ToS for hosting illegal content, which can lead to account termination. I hope you understand but you have now lost all credibility from me as an airline I thought was good. Quote

I hope you understand but you have now lost all credibility from me as an airline I thought was good. Other VAs use bootstrap, i am using bootstrap too. Why that needed to be pointed out i dont know. Did i make the wrong decision to put the nulled Xenforo on my site? Now that i think about it, i did make that wrong decision. My site breaking the law? Forums yes, the rest of the site no. I did reread the ToS of my host after this was brought up. So i am taking it down and putting on phpbb3. As for the Credibility thing you mentioned. Credibility can be lost but can be rebuilt to. I do understand now and the consequences that may of happened if i resisted and not listened to the community. I do apologize to anyone offended by this. Quote
Stealthbird97 Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 My Reference to bootstrap was me saying it looks good. The way you word it makes it seem you took offence to me saying that. Quote
Strider Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 Most of this could have been dealt with via pm. No need to publicly point these things out. There is a lot worse t hings VA owners have done and gotten away with, other then having nulled software. I am tired of reading all these accusations every few months of someone doing something bad. Use the PM side of these forums for that. You make yourself look bad, and no one will want to work with you, if all they are going to get is a public bashing. 1 Quote
