I have a problem with frontpage, swf not work. You can see the test page here: http://sparkadsl.0lx.net/phpvms/

I dont have idea about this question, I would appreciate someone help me please.

It's a free host for a start. Shouldn't be the problem but you will most likely bump into different issues later on. I'm pretty sure the docs warn you that free hosts are a bad idea.

Make sure your links are correct. Especially this one:

<script type="text/javascript" src="js/swfobject.js"></script>

Does that file exist on your server?

I go try in principal directory and i say you, may be that the fail....

Solved, the template slider not work, i dont know because.

I installed the "rotator" slider but frontpage_main.tpl not want relative routes, i changed to absolute routes the images links and work.

To people that dont help by be a freehost, not all troubles are by freehostings, by thanks.

Sorry but free hosts count for 99% of the problems with phpvms. They quite often have out dated PHP versions and MYSQL versions, certain PHP operations are also turned off. Don't complain that no one wants to help you. We will, we just would like you to move to better hosting, one that will help you in the long run.

I regret that you would not be able to see farther, and you see only freehosting, when the question was to customize the page and by a flash slider, which if it works in html but did so in phpvms, because not is based on a simple page on the root directory.

The questions that 99% of problems that you say, I ask to my hosting service how i did ever, via ticket with answers in short time.

Although would have a pay hosting, I have had the same problem, but you will not understand that. You just were not willing to help, do not put more excuses and shut the theme, because its solved. Thanks & regards

Was only a question of help to learn, not hostings issues or phpvms issues.

Obiously, no one's responsibility to answer, also if there is a forum is to help one another, and not marginalize anyone for using a freehosting if the question isn't associated with that, is what you are giving me to understand.

I agree about that pay hosting is best, i know that freehosting is limitated in performance etc, but if aught work in a normal php or html page and in phpvms not, in same hosting, is because that I am being wrong on something, not because of hosting. Anyway im not the founder of VA or webpage to take that deccisions. So relax for all, nothing happens, no further discussion is necessary. ;) Regards

No one is marginalizing your posts, people want to help, but find it hard when they know it will work if it were not in free hosting. A lot of php has not been updated, what has been updated is the security of it. Most releases were to help close loop holes in the code, that hackers could exploit and get in and steal information. If you want help, you have to meet people half way. We can only help you so much, most of us here run our own VA's and it is not a 2 min a day job, it takes a lot of commitment to run a VA. And we have to look after our own one first. So instead of complaining that we are all ignoring you and marginalizing you, have some patience, someone will come and will help, if they can.
