Hi. When I tried to update phpVMS I got this error message: Fatal error: Call to undefined method PilotData::updateflighthours() in /home/a8930745/public_html/phpvms/install/update.php on line 165 Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

hi there is any way altered flight? I want to rename it. example charter flight -> military flight is that I'm creating a virtual military use and what your system eh changed enough to be able to do things like that but not how to do .. because I can not find where to change ... Like it to show the group in the profile. thanks for everything

Hi, I'm having a problem with the registration form. I'm trying to create a test pilot to test out the new forum intergration code i've added (automatic pilot addition). When I click the button to register the pilot it just takes me back to the form again and no "pending" pilot is added and no e-mails are sent out. Can anyone help? cheers, roboa

Hi Nabeel, I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to consider a change to the downloads section. As it stands, all download categories are on the same page. What I think would be cool is if when you went to view the downloads, it would take you to a page where the categories are listed. You could then, click the category you wanted to view just those files. When you consider that a lot of VAs will have ten to twenty aircraft and may have those files for both FS2004 and FSX, the page may get a little long. As well, you could also make a utilities category for panel files, pdf manuals, etc. Just my two cents! Chuck CYXU

I am currently tring to upload a new skin which I am making for CableGuy, but can't upload it to phpVMS. I have made a Stand By phpVMS for testing things before putting them live and is how I got my admin panel back to normal again. I have been into the admin panel, general site and in the drop-down menu I have selected the right one and saved it. When I reload the page it doesn't seem to change. I have waited and it still isn't.

First I would like to say this that phpvms is a great piece of software. Question; I have added two fields to my PIREP report. One weather conditions and the other is flight plan. However, I can not get them to display more then 35 characters. I would like them to be the size of the default comment field. I'm sure it is easy to do but I can not seem to fine in the templates where to make the change. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Captain BB

For some reason I dont see the boarding pass on my Virtual Airline website. I figure its supposed to come up when you bid for a flight or when you go on the bids page or something, but I just dont see it.

Hi all I have been playing with a customized button thing for a while now and am stuck, I have the menu working see here: http://www.nexissair.co.uk/Buttons.htm'>http://www.nexissair.co.uk/Buttons.htm How do I get that into my site here: http://www.nexissair.co.uk keeping the functions of the core_nav? i.e. when not logged in the downloads and pilot area will not show up. I'm struggeling abit now and any help would be great, I can get it to work as an htm file but as soon as I try and build it into the core_nav.tpl it all goes belly up.

Is there a way of getting the schedules and roster to when they get to a certain number go to a new page? So you don't have a real long list on one page? I think this would benefit a lot of VA owners too. Cheers Dan C

I have been told to make a new topic for this. I asked about a week ago how to remove the Departure Time, Arrival Time and Day of Week from the schedules. I was told that it wasn't possible but I should keep it there for VACentral, I don't want to use VACentral as I want my VA to remain as it is. In the General Feature Request section I then asked about changing and the ability of deleting current fields (not adding just custom fields) and I got told that I could do it by changing some code to a default value of 0 for the fields I didn't want, I just assumed that it was in the admin panel part for schedules so I changed the value to 0 but now have the 'Time Flown', 'Detai…

First of all....Great look for the new site. I think it looks really professional. i uploaded and installed the 7 update. I am having trouble with the boarding pass. When I click the link all I get is a blank page. I have tried it in FF and IE with the same results. I can't seem to track down the source of the problem. I also cant seem to find the Pilot briefing page

I have installed the new update and I have had to just close down my site temporarly to get my graphics back, they seem to have disappered. But when I used the system first and was adding in the schedules, there are two fields which I don't want, departure and arrival times. I don't care about the flight time, I would want that but I don't want the pilots to think they are restricted by the timee they fly and its a pain filling them two fields in anyway. How do I remove them?

Hey guys, I've tried to fix this problem for a few weeks now. But when you go here - http://flycirrusair.com/index.php/pilots and scroll to the bottom My hours show all messed up. I have re-filed the pirep's, removed tranfered hours, and all that but it still says that. Any help is good! Thanks

Have noticed that whne I'm adding in flights across the international date line the calculated distance is all screwed up. For example, YSSY (Sydney) to PHNL (Honolulu) comes up as 19155 miles. Apart from entering these manually, is there a potential bug/solution here?

I'm working on one of these phpVMS sites and I'm not sure if my client updated the site or what he did (communication can be quite delayed) and we're getting this message: A few things going on here: 1. Note the double / after "public_html" in the template file url. 2. Note that Constant "CURRENT_SKIN" is not defined apparently and the constant's name is output. odd result if you ask me. I defined it in the core/codon.config.php and it fixed that problem which revealed to me another... 3. Constant "SITE_NAME" is not defined and is also being output simply as the constant's name. 4. I have a feeling my accounts been hacked by somebody. I put a new page form called report a problem and this is what its come up with. I put a form in there. It only comes up in my account, I haven't made any test pilot accounts or anything and when somebody who isn't logged on comes on, it comes up as not found. I am worried about this as I was hoping to start advertising today.

Hi Nabeel, I have an idea that I wanted to float by you. Would it be possible to extrapolate a rough heading of the flight by taking the present position and comparing it to the intended destination? If so, adding some extra icons to the image folder, say an icon oriented for every five degree increment and then calling up the appropriate icon to display on the map. It would not be perfect since it would always want to point to the lat and long of the destination while you are sitting at the gate. Hey guys, I know this has been re-hashed over and over and I've tried doing what was recommended to no avail so, I would like to appologize ahead of time for that. The issue that I'm having is apparently the Google API key is invalid (per the prompts im receiving) and or being used by another client. I've attempted to update the key, both manually (through the script) as well as automatically (through the phpVMS Google API option) with the same results. The google map will not load, nor will the list of pilots who are flying so I seriously wonder if it's port related or just Google Maps locking us out. Hello dear community, i saw that this problem happened in this forum two weeks ago, but i have no idea to fix the problem ;-) i updated to version 1.2.661 and the content pages are not shown anymore. i deleted the pages and tried to create new ones but without any results. i just can see the basic pages from the phpvms on my site. the created site is marked as enabled and public,too. the update 1.2.661 fixed many problems and it´s great! good work! i will be the happiest pilot to upload my content pages on the site, too :-) so if you have any idea to fix it, please let me know. should i reinstall the update or the whole program? thank you very much for your support! …
