I want to add the ACARS.ZIP to my website in PHPVMS7. I cannot see any option in ADMIN to MAINTAIN a downloads section. Anybody set this up can you please give details thank you.

i added a new custom airport Calamocha LECH from MS2020. Actually, LECH already exist so i gave icao LECH1. When i select it on ACARS i get an error " Error prefiling. " VaCentral/VaCentral::getAirport(): Return value must be of type VaCentral/Models\Airport, none returned". Can you help to solve it?

I have an issue with sending mail from my freshly installed site (version 7). And I looked where to change the SMTP settings in what file. In a friends installation I did some time ago, I found that I had edited the env.php file. So I searched in the new site for that same file, but I cannot find it. However I also did find a config.php in the bootstrap directory. I did add the SMTP stuff in there, but that seems not to work. Wrong spot? I am using a mailadres from my hosting company. Help is appreciated. RobB

The weather is being decoding correctly, except for the visibility is shown in km, with all Admin settings as US standard. Any way to fix the visibility to show in miles?

Good Morning Folks. I currently have my VA linked to a 2GB database. Its currently 1.2GB full, with nearly 4000 PIREPs, so I want to start making a plan for adding some space. My current hosting provider limits their Databases to 2GB and you are not allowed to go any higher, even if you offer to throw money at them, so that's a shame that I can't just scale up the existing one. There is the context, so my question is this; If I completely export my old database and then import a carbon copy to a new location, how do I go about, in phpVMS 7, pointing it to the new database, which will be externally hosted from the core site? Hello, I have noticed that some pilots, for some reason, do not finish their flights, perhaps the simulator closed unexpectedly or the plane crashed, etc. When this happens, they close the simulator first and then the vmsACARS, and the plane stays on the map until they fly again The question is: Is it possible to remove those planes from the map without waiting for them to fly again?

After successfully passing the requirements and database access phases, the application goes into a loop in the database setup phase. I noticed that strangely the credentials have the user name without any value. Hi, We just installed phpVMS7 with the Disposable Basic and Special addons. Our server has mySQL database and is on php 8.1.29. We would like to completely disable all Finance related content. We could disable some finance related modules in Disposable Special, but not all. Would appreciate your help (in non-programming savvy language 🙂 )

Hi, I'm very new to phpVMS and I'm already having issues with it. I'm using a shared hosting plan to host the phpVMS. Whenever I create a flight in the admin dashboard, it is not showing in the crew center. You can check the attached images: I really hope someone can help me. This time I have a more substantial and complicated question. We have set up AWS SES to use as SMTP provider. In the AWS console we have: Verified identities using the same email as the PhPVMS install. Verified Domain. Created SMTP user with credentials. Removed the sandbox and went into production. We went through all the AWS configuration steps properly and sent test emails from within the console successfully. Hello everyone, I have a question regarding passenger numbers and cargo calculation per aircraft. These values are set in the Fares section. However, the same aircraft type can have different configurations. Is it possible to send the values dynamically to SimBrief using "AUTO" so that SimBrief calculates the passenger count and cargo weight based on the specific aircraft configuration? These values could then be automatically transferred back to phpVMS. Hello, This is a vanilla installation of V7.03 with default skin we have started to build & customize. We noticed the Pilot profile page is missing some information compared to another previous test-install on our server. The "dark mode" picture shows the issue-affected page where the API key & other info are not displayed, the second picture (light mode) is from the previous V7 testing instance we had. Any ideas and suggestions are always very much appreciated.

Good evening, New to phpVMS and currently going through the setup / testing phases. I noticed an issue when loading flights that they are showing on the schedule even when the start and end date is not current. Also still showing when the days are set but it's not actually the day (example monday) and I still see it today. Is there a step I am missing after creating the flights to only have them appear on the schedule for bidding when the start and end dates are valid and the day trigger is also valid? First, sorry if this topic has been raised / been highlighted and solved before but did not find any info about it: If I´m not mistaken, earlier version read the user edited database that we create and upload, as LOCAL times for departures and arrivals. The latest version here , reads it as UTC. Is that correctly understood? Or is something else causing our flights come up with UTC after our local departure times? If yes, is it possible to tweak or select local times instead of UTC? After update at our VA, all departures and arrivals, local times, are now shown as UTC after the time stamp. Thus, the whole database will be wrong for our pilots. …

Hello Again! A while back I found documentation on how to have the phpvma v7 to send pirep notifications to a discord channel. Can't remember how I did it, but it was working, but the channel I had set up on discord to receive the prep notifications got deleted. Would anyone know where I might find that documentation? So my VA has alot of aircraft and would like to narrow it down. I was told that if an aircraft has already flown a flight it will screw up the system. Is this true or can I wipe out the fleet and redo it?

Hello again amazing community! Here's another of my phpvms "illiterate" questions: Version is 7.0.3-dev.12 I have schedules that are clearly active and well setup in Admin but are not shown in the flight search frontend. An example is AA Flight 219. Several legs are covering all days of the week. All have appropriate sub fleet and fares assigned, yet they are not showing up..... What can cause this? I always have problems with cancelled pireps these are not deleted (at least not overnight) 3. the statistics are only updated once a night? I would like to update them more often, is that possible? Hello. I removed my installation of phpVMS 7 about 8 month ago retuning to phpVMSv5, I did not delete the database, just the file of the website. Decided to up the phpVMS 7 backup, as I had backed up all of the site before deleting it from the website host. I reuploaded the phpVMS 7 to the web host and everything is working fine. However in my profile page the email address and the API key is not showing as it was before I deleted the site. Like I said everything else seems to be working fine. Thank you for the help.
