Instaling PHP Bet 7.0

Recommended Posts

Sorry, but I need help to install PHPVMS.

1. I Downloaded the file <phpvms-7.0.0-beta.3.zip>
2. I open a new free account at 000webhost (following a tutorial at Youtube - phpVMS Tutorials | Web Hosting)

3. I uploaded the files to folder public_html
4. I created a database
5. I chose PHP version 7.0 in the settings.

6. But, as I open my site, an error 500 shows up.
7. I dont have the possibility to install anything, as I could see in the PHPVMS page.

I´m using a free account to test it, and posteriorly upload to my paid hoster.

Anyone can help, please?

If possible, set that sub-domain to use PHP 7.2 or 7.3

Follow the docs here to install correctly on a sub-domain: http://docs.phpvms.net/

You will go to the v7 site via http://<full_sub-domain_name>/public

Free hosting is your first issue.

Create a sub domain and database on your paid host and upload it there.

Use the latest development build here: http://downloads.phpvms.net/phpvms-7.0.0-dev.tar.gz

Done that in my case and i got an STEP 3 Error, cant create the airline and the admin user.

Same error, in my server i cant place a subdomain ouside the public_html folder (ending the phpvms paralel to public_html) that is case sensitive in order to complete the STEP3?, i read the report and seem like it could not create the database entry.

sitio.aerovirtual.com.ar /public_html/phpvms/public

If your subdomain for phpVMS v7 is called "sitio.aerovirtual.com.ar"

You need to first create a subdomain called "sitio.aerovirtual.com.ar" through your hosting panel and point that subdomain to /public_html/phpvms/public

Then copy all the phpVMS v7 files to /public_html/phpvms

yes, tried both ways now the hosting enabled me to point subdomains to root folder, reinstalled but got same error y STEP 3

redoing everything again

STEP 1: Created folder sitio.aerovirtual.com.ar paralel to the folder public_html

                        -public_html

                        -sitio.aerovirtual.com.ar

STEP2: Extracted the phpVMS v 7 in the folder  sitio.aerovirtual.com.ar (there is no phpvms subfolder inside the zip provided, tried both ways)

STEP 3: Created subdomain pointing folder sitio.aerovirtual.com.ar/public.

STEP 4: Installer -------- added database credentias, all ok till now (the test database reaches home screen of the installer)

               Database creates the tables,

and then STEP 3 ARILINE AND USER user creation....

THEN FAIL!

sitio.aerovirtual.com.ar is working OK, but no admin user nor airline ware created.
