patva1 Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 what about automatic route scheduling. Something like all you have to do is enter all of the airports you serve and then the program does the rest. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to progrma something like this. Just an idea though! Quote
Administrators Nabeel Posted February 6, 2009 Administrators Report Posted February 6, 2009 I would love to, but I can't find any web-services which can 'deliver' routes through XML or JSON. Quote
Toyuko Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 I have an idea go to simroutes and copy/paste the routes. Quote
UAVCEO Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 Yeah, I'll just link my pilots to simroutes, but nice idea. It would be very cool, but I haven't seen that before. Quote
Administrators Nabeel Posted February 6, 2009 Administrators Report Posted February 6, 2009 Yeah, I've contacted simroutes about having an API to export routes, but didn't get an answer. Perhaps I'll try again Quote
Strider Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 simroutes has a flaw, not all routes you put in, will come up with a route, I don't know why they did that, but it seems like they have shot themselves in the foot, so to speak. Cheers Dan C Quote
Toyuko Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 What about a database of routes on the phpvms server? Quote
Administrators Nabeel Posted February 10, 2009 Administrators Report Posted February 10, 2009 That could have potential with some of the things I have planned. Quote
Moderators mark1million Posted February 10, 2009 Moderators Report Posted February 10, 2009 What about a database of routes on the phpvms server? Nabeel if you want some space give me a shout Quote
Administrators Nabeel Posted February 10, 2009 Administrators Report Posted February 10, 2009 Nabeel if you want some space give me a shout Thanks.. got plenty here though, but I'll be moving to a VPS sometime soon (slicehost perhaps), I'd like to consolidate all my stuff, and don't have enough control over services and stuff I can install on the box, particularly subversion which I have been wrestling with for months. I'm going to have an announcement shortly about plans... Quote
