  2. Same logic applies, nothing different Replace the files under phpvms folder of yours with the ones from latest dev (simply unpack latest dev in that folder), then copy over the public folder contents over your public_html folder.

  4. For a friend I did install PHPVMS 7.0.0-dev+221130.ced201. Where the files are not in the public_html folder but on a PHPVMS folder on the same hight has public_html. See the attachment. Back then when I did do the installation, it seemed to us, that all should be put in a separate directory. I read the update documents, and it went well for another va, So I know a tiny bit. But I would like to have some advice on where to put the files now? Thanks ahead, RobB
  5. Thanks champs. Update successfull. 7.0.0-dev+240407.8554a3 I also saw the METAR working now. This can be called closed. Though will update another VA site of a friend of mine, but there is something specific, and I will ask some help to update that one in another post. Thanks.
  6. Docs link is at the top already (which you have found too) Good luck with the update
  7. I have decided to upgrade. I do find the latest version on Discord from april 7. However I do not find the same on the forum, perhaps I look in the wrong spot (Announcements). Can I find a description for the update? Thanks ahead. RobB PS, I found an article in the docs and specific for updating. I will let you know if I succeed,
  8. Good news, glad you solved it. It is up to you, update or do a fresh install... Just use latest dev build, how you do it is just a choice for now. If you have nothing to lose, fresh install will be easy, but I would prefer updating to have some practice for future updates
  9. I have deleted the cache file, and it works now. Thank you both for your advice. The questions remains, can I/should I upgrade to the newest version? RobB
  10. Thanks for the answer. I cannot reach the admin part either so I will delete what you suggest. can I upgrade to the latest version? or is it better to start over as I do not have much added to the site? robB
  11. Hi Rob, Technically either from discord or from this forum, downloading the latest dev (development) build is the best choice... Beta.5 is ok too but it had some nice bugfixes after release and latest dev is better than the beta.5 at the moment. Additionally, when you duplicate a theme (be it the default theme or an addon theme), you need to (this is a must) edit the theme.json and change the name, which needs to match the folder name you used. Only then it will be possible to use it and avoid any errors like you mentioned above. So considering the error in your hands; You need to either clean the application cache from admin > maintenance page or if you can not reach there too, then you need to delete the mentioned (bootstrap/cache/themes.php) file manually for it to be re-created with the corrected info. Hope this helps, good luck
  12. Thanks for your reply. Well I downloaded the version from the website. I was not aware of versions on discord. Should have downloaded from discord? i can reinstall as there is no man overboard and i did not add to many things. which cache do you mean? Browser cach? No but I testes on different browsers and devices. Rob
  13. Did you install phpVMS v7 beta 5 or the latest dev build from the discord releases channel? Did you clear the cache after changing any files and before setting the theme to other than default?
  14. I had installed the latest version of PHPVMS 7.0 And I had it working. In order to start with a different page, I had copied the Theme default to a new name and uploaded that. I hade not changed the theme.json. I go into the admin part and select the new theme name. And on that moment I get a Server error 500 I did find this part in the logs: [2024-04-17 00:02:21] production.ERROR: Theme default already exists {"exception":"[object] (Igaster\\LaravelTheme\\Exceptions\\themeAlreadyExists(code: 1): Theme default already exists at /home/name/domains/domainname.com/public_html/vendor/igaster/laravel-theme/src/Themes.php:136) And I concluded that I have to edit the theme.json in the new theme folder. I did that and uploaded it. Yet does the error stay. I did look into the database in the settingspart and in the field General_theme it still says default. The question is how do I fix this? Or do I completely start over? Greetings, RobB PS I just checked it, but I had uploaded a ver.php file in order to check php versions etc into the root of the site, but even that one gives that error.

  16. Every other flight I do when you land with Autobrakes it ends the flight on rollout.
  17. Hello, We are an offline VA with some 200 active members. We are looking for a (paid) developer who can take our web environment from Joomla 3 to phpVMS. Interested? Please reply or contact me via DM. Thanks, Stijn
  18. Earlier
  19. Quite possibly. I guess we will have to wait for the OP to respond to know for sure. And as your and I have previously discussed many times, any new VA's should be using phpVMS v7 - no wasting time by starting a phpVMS based VA using va5. 😵
  20. Probably OP is not talking about v7 (considering his other post he may be talking about v5.x)
  21. See the docs and guides. Look for subfleets.
  22. Already included in the base phpVMS v7program. You can import and export routes.
  23. It would be nice to be able to group aircraft into a category/class and assign those classes to routes vs listing aircraft one by one.
  24. Is it possible to have. amass route editor in place or a mechanism to export and import routes for mass editing via a csv?
  25. Hi. I would like to write a python script that converts ACMI files into a PIREP and supplements necessary data (e.g., ICAO codes...). Is there any documentation on how such a Pirep must be structured? I find a lot about the API/REST, but unfortunately no documentation for manual Pireps that players can upload after a flight (not interested in live data). To accomplish this task, I'm trying to understand the PIREP Format. regards marc
  26. Createa a new database. The phpVMS v5.5.2.72 database is not compatible with v7. As you progress thru the v7 install, look on the upper right of the screen for red letters saying something about a Legacy Import. Choose that option to import "most" of your v5 data into your new v7 database. Be sure to use the latest dev version from yesterday (or newer) so your v5 financial data imports to v7. There will still be a good bit of work to do setting up subfleets and assigning them to flights (schedules in v5) and some other stuff. Be sure to set up the v7.env file for email as soon as the install is complete. The bottom pic with the warnings looks to be from v5. When installing v7, use Option1 in the docs. Nothing from v7 goes in the public_html directory. Later, when you're ready to go live, you can redirect your domain to your v7 sub-domain.
  27. Hi There, I want some help installing phpvms7, I am currently using phpvms5.5.2.72 and I want to go ahead and install phpvms7, but I am facing some problems when installing. I uploaded the phpvms7 files to a new folder, and when installed, this error appeared I attached a pic Note: I am using phpvms 5.5.2.72 and I need to change to phpvms7 with the old date I have it on phpvms5.5.2.72 Server Information cPanel Version 110.0 (build 24) Apache Version2.4.58 MySQL Version10.6.17-MariaDB PHP Version 8.1 If anyone can help me I will be thankful to him Best Regards
  28. As far as I remember, Disposable Basic provides basic support for events (which is backed up with a widget and API endpoints to display events on your landing page). If it is not enough for you, or if it is not fulfilling your needs then yes, you need to contact a 3rd party developer to create you a custom module about it because market is extremely limited at the moment. Only full scale modules are Disposable Basic and Special, and some airline based / customized copies of them. A v5 developer tried to convert his old modules and published one of them but we did not heard from him since then. Nothing more is available at the moment Good luck
  29. Hi everyone: My name is Daniel, I'm working on the Iberia, Iberia Express and Air Nostrum Airline for Grupo Iberia Virtual at https://www.iberiava.net Currently, we are implementing PHPVMS 7 with the Disposable extended and we are configuring a brand new environment, as we were using a custom system that we are unable to provide support anymore. Of course, deploying an entire new environment and importing all the data we have previously is a titanic work that would take months to complete as we need to start from zero with the phpvms7. While browsing all the features offered by phpvms, I found that some functionalities are onboarded through disposable modules, like the Tours feature. However, I could not find how to create or manage "events" or fly-in events. We are mostly focused on the scheduled flights, but a big part of our community relies heavily on Tours and Events. I was looking how feature can be added using a custom-made or existing module that could satisfy this requirement. Is there anything existing in the market or shall we request to a developer to create this custom module about this. Thanks a lot
