Here is a peak at my first serious attempt at a VMS skin. I had help from Simpilot on some of the divs and css. So Kudos go to him from me. It is a plain Jane looking skin. Nothing fancy no extra bells or Whistles. So far the only thing I can find that is jacked up is the ACARS Map. I can not seem to scare up an answer to my problem with it. ****TEMPORARILY DOWN**** Will be back up shortly. This one would never be released to the public obviously. It is generic and plane. Now that I kind of know how to do it, I can start doing more.

The default skin (crystal) only has a content area that covers the whole width. I would like to use a skin that has a side column on the left and probably also one with side columns on the left and right in addition to the main content area. I have seen them in some of the other VAs, looked all over the SKINS forum but apparently all the skins are either outdated (don't work well with .944) or just dead links to sites that no longer exist. Anybody has one such current skins?

Found this page about one mans opinion of web site design, he calls it the html hell page. He includes Design Hell, Content Hell, Style Hell, and Extension Hell. I don't endorse it, although I agree with a lot of it, I just found it interesting and felt it gave a point of view for designers to think about when designing web pages. http://www.catb.org/esr/html-hell.html

Hello, I created a menu in javascript in the "studio DHTML menu, enter the code in layout.tpl, but did not appear in the homepage. Anyone know how to fix this? I tried using the code {literal} {/ literal} but no effect. I am grateful for everyone's help. Att: Luiz Cortinhas

Ok, I am thinking of updating the software but i wonder if someone could help me out. When i replace all of the core etc what will i have to fix in the template? I am using Obsess Blue. I have edited some of the files in the core will i loose them? And what about the local.config file will that be the same so like Auto retire etc. Thank you Very Much Daniel

This may have been answered somewhere but I couldn't find it Is there a way to divide the pilots list into hubs and put just the pilot list for that hub into a page created for that hub In other words, I made a hub page "KCLT". Is there a way of taking just the pilots that are in KCLT and displaying them in a table on that page?

I need help with editting the .tpl files in the Obsess Blue skin. When I try to open in notepad it just shows up as a blank notepad, please help someone. I also have no idea how to edit the frontpage_main.tpl

Hi folks. I would like to put a pilots scheduled flights right on the pilot center page so they won't have to click on a link to it. I've copied the code from the "My Flight Bids" page and pasted it in a new table I created in the Pilot Center page. It displays the copied table ok, but tells me there are no flights schedule even though there are. I'm obviously missing something crucial but I only have a very limited knowledge on web design (I use Dreamweaver) and practically no knowledge on PHP. Could someone guide me through this process?
