Well I dont seem to understand how to use custom CSS for a custom nav bar, where do i put this? <ul id="nav"> <?php Template::Show('core_navigation.tpl'); ?> </ul> and from there where should i put my Drop down nav? Thanks everyone!

Many thanks to all who help with the navigation bar. The site is coded and now all i need is the content, for those of you who are going to view the page source i have the site configured for each page to read a phpVMS created page so staff and others are able to edit without a web edit software. I just finished the tutorial video on the skinning, but i came across this <?php if($_GET['module'] 'frontpage'] { ?> now i know that, there is something betweetn the mod and front but i could not read it on the video or understand what was said, could someone point me tothe correct direction? I think on my site, style.css doesnt have inputs for main, mainbox, conetnt area, how do i call it. When i go to my pilots or other page, it displays something rude...ok for instance in pilot info, so my pilot center...I have something regular, then i go to style.css...i cant find which area is dedicated for style of that letters in tha mainboard srea, i think im speaking right...So i entered pilot_something.tpl and i found tables there, i can do change in fonts there but i will need whole eternety entewring everything with every single line...so i found on net tbody and i done something including that...and i managed to change one table bu couldnt change font size, evey…

How to change, and where in which file, position of login screen and position of bid flights page, pireps page, finances and so on...(h3 i think)...I have changed site so i can put iframe in it, with those pages inside...i was able to change first page (home) and i think map, but others i cant find where to change...soon as i reinstall this all i will try to fix that...

why lock the post i think all us people that have paid good money for a service as got a right to know whats going on and if email and pm was an option dont you think we would be using them if i was a moderator instead of locking the post my first concern would be help find and rule out any possible fraudulent behaviour or is it remotely possible that you know him well and know whats going on and this is a good way to shut us all up rather than expose anything if im wrong then please accept my apologies and try helping us rather than shut us up thanks

Somehow when I created my half assed skin, I somehow made the google bubble not show any info. If I put my mouse in the baloon and left click drag, it shows all info high lighted. Where in the scc file would I go to look and see how to fix this? I didnt think I did anything that would effect that at all.

Ok, I am currently making a new skin for my VA, but I have almost no experience with php ect., and am wondering if anyone can give me a little breakdown of exactly how the php and js files are plugging in info like Recent Pireps ect. I have the php code on the homepage of the skin for plugging in the info, and Dreamweaver recognizes it and puts a php symbol where info from the php code will be plugged in, but haven't yet found out how to get that to work after a while of testing. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hey Guys, I've been trying to skin my website up but to be honest I have no artistic flare when it comes to things like this. Ok, this probably sounds like a simple question, but I don't have much experience with javascript. I noticed the majority of va's have it so when you roll over one of the buttons in the navbar, it changes color and a submenu drops down from it. Could anyone give me a program to use to do this or base javascript to work with? Thanks in advance!

Ok so don't laugh at me. ;D ;D http://paranormalinsights.com/phpVMS I am trying to break each section up into blocks like I have on the left, but each time I try and add a new div or anything, it busts up my template real bad like. I know it is uglier than ape right now. I figure once I get functional worked out, I work on pretty later. This is my first attempt at a skin for phpVMS. Can anyone tell me how to add extra stuff on the sides in blocks without busting up my template.? If needs be I can take a screen shot of what it looks like busted up and show the code so you know what I am up to. Also, notice the links for new pilots and such, they are blue and purple. …

Ok so I am the first to admit, I am ok at integrating a bunch of things most of the time, but skinning is NOT up my alley at all. I watched the skinning tutorials and the guy said he found a simple template to use. Am I correct in saying this guy found a forum template? Or are they plain jane html website templates that he is modifying? I am having real issues figuring this out. I am looking for some place to find free templates from so I can get a layout that I like that I can alter to my liking. Any suggestions? Thanks Ray
