Is there a way of getting the METAR of your hubs to show on the homepage? I think this would be a handy thing to have for the pilots, so they know what the weather conditions are like each day. Cheers Dan C

First of all....Great look for the new site. I think it looks really professional. i uploaded and installed the 7 update. I am having trouble with the boarding pass. When I click the link all I get is a blank page. I have tried it in FF and IE with the same results. I can't seem to track down the source of the problem. I also cant seem to find the Pilot briefing page

Have noticed that whne I'm adding in flights across the international date line the calculated distance is all screwed up. For example, YSSY (Sydney) to PHNL (Honolulu) comes up as 19155 miles. Apart from entering these manually, is there a potential bug/solution here?

I have installed the new update and I have had to just close down my site temporarly to get my graphics back, they seem to have disappered. But when I used the system first and was adding in the schedules, there are two fields which I don't want, departure and arrival times. I don't care about the flight time, I would want that but I don't want the pilots to think they are restricted by the timee they fly and its a pain filling them two fields in anyway. How do I remove them?

Hi Nabeel, I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to consider a change to the downloads section. As it stands, all download categories are on the same page. What I think would be cool is if when you went to view the downloads, it would take you to a page where the categories are listed. You could then, click the category you wanted to view just those files. When you consider that a lot of VAs will have ten to twenty aircraft and may have those files for both FS2004 and FSX, the page may get a little long. As well, you could also make a utilities category for panel files, pdf manuals, etc. Just my two cents! Chuck CYXU

Hello phpVMS fans, I am not a php expert by any means and this is probably a simple one but annoying me to no end none the less. I have gotten the site up and running with some success and I have all pages centered except the "route details" page. It functions correctly but the page jumps to the left margin all the time. Simply annoying to me : If anyone could give me a hint in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. Ok so no one posted a working Joomla -> PHPVMS bridge so I'm going to have a go writing my own. What I need to know is: does the password Salt have to be set correctly or can I use a default Salt Value? If it unique based on the user registration data how is it created, so I can recreate it in Joomla?

Hi, when trying to submit a manual PIREP, the pilots are presented with this error message: fopen(/home/fcava./public_html//lib/rss/latestpireps.rss) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/fcava./public_html/core/common/RSSFeed.class.php on line 63 The PIREP does go through so it isnt directly affecting that. I have also checked the permissions on the RSSFeed.class.php and they are set to 777 cheers, roboa

Hello, I recently had an issue yesterday of the system logging a completely different flight after my flight from KLAX to RJAA was complete. It showed two flights complete, one from KBOS to KBWI, and another from KLAX to KBOS. None of those flights were ever flown, however, they may have been added to the flight bid. Would having those flights in the flight bid allow that to happen? Also, I am noticing that after adding flights and going through the flight search, I cannot see them in the searches. I have been trying to make an HTML image link, however all that show up is a small white box with a grey outline. The code I used looks like this: <a href="hangar"><img src="www.patva1.comli.com/phpvms/lib/skins/patva_template/images/hangar.jpg"/></a> If there is something wrong please let me know, but I thought I was doing it right. If you click on the small white box it takes you to the right page, just the image does not show up like it should.

Hi I try and bring up various statistics. The statistics I try to have on my site is all active pilots, not the total number of pilots. In addition, I also try to have all pilots per hub, for example ENGM/25 Pilots, EKCH/12 Pilots, and so on. On my hub page, I try to have all the pilots for this hub, all the flights, the total number of hours. I will also try to have the total number of hours the last month and the total number of today. Is this possible and how do I do it? Hi all im new on phpVMS, so i want to say hi to all and say thx for the great idea, we are a making a new VA known as vFACH, you can visit our site on www.vfach.cl. ok now direct to the point, we have made a clean instalation for the phpVMS full + update, we are runing on win2k3 + Apache 2.2 + PHP5.2 running as module + MySQL. we are running phpbb and joomla with no problem of any kind, even when we finish the install process of phpVMS seems to be all ok, but when we want to login as admin it said that there is no such user, so we exam the DB and notice that no user or airline data was stored on the DB :'(, please if you have any idea dont doubt on help us.
