This month’s challenge was submitted by Phil Power (CXA872) who lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick, where in the winter months Sunwing tours shows up with a Boeing 737-800 and operates weekly direct flights to Veradero, Cuba. This is the longest direct flight that operates out of Fredericton where normally Toronto and Montreal are the only long haul direct flights out of Fredericton. This month, we pack up all the sun screen we can find and load up the Canadian Xpress® Boeing 737-900 (as we don’t have a 738) which is available to all pilots regardless of rank, but only for the challenge in Fredericton (CYFC) with a bunch of pasty white east coasters looking to esca…

This month’s challenge and its name, was inspired by a YouTube Video posted by Paul (CXA002) of an A320 crew on approach to Queenstown New Zealand. It will quickly show you why Queenstown is listed on SimTours.net as an airport with a dangerous and difficult approach. This month, your job is to load up either the Canadian Xpress® Airbus A320-200, Boeing 737-900NG, Boeing 737-300 or the Bombardier CRJ-700 which are available to all pilots regardless of rank, but only for the challenge for a domestic hop from Auckland (NZAA) to Queenstown (NZQN). This is a fairly common route so you’ll be operating with a passenger load of around 80% after fuel planning. Join Can…

This month, Canadian Xpress® has been hired to move SAR equipment from Death Valley National Park, where it’s been supporting the Badwater Ultra-Marathon and other summer events in the valley, to its winter location at Lake Tahoe. One little catch to this mission, the Hawker Siddeley HS.748 and the BAe JetStream 41 are the only two cargo aircraft locally staged in this area that is able to operate out of Furnace Creek. Both are fine aircraft, however they can get a little picky in the hot weather. Your job is to load up the most cargo you can at Furnace Creek (L06) and make your way to Lake Tahoe Valley (KTVL). Join Canadian Xpress® today in order to participate as…

Hi all, I'm introducing Chill Aviation, a brand new Caribbean charter airline based in the British Virgin islands at TUPJ. The website is currently under construction, and i'm slowly setting up routes etc... We will be mainly flying single engine turboprops (PC12, TBM850, PA46 Jetprop) to start with, and then expanding further into the multi-engine scene. So if you're looking for something a little bit different from flying the heavy metal for hours on end, then check us out... http://www.chillaviation.com (note...website not fully ready yet. This is just a progress page) Regards, Chilly

This Fokker is the first of its kind. Begin januari, we we add more. Yet they will have Rotterdam as their home airport. Begin februari another batch will be added at Maastricht. The Fokkers 50 at Rotterdam and Maastricht will connect to the major airports in Western Europe. This is so far our biggest plane at the va. The smaller Cessna Caravans and Twinotters are connecting smaller airports in France, Belgium, England, Germany and even Switzerland. We hope to attract more public/pilots now that have taken that step. On a sidenote: We have a new livery for our Cessna Caravans. They where painted by Reach. Visit our va? www.citylink-va.com

Ladies and Gentlemen, As you all well know by now, things here at FlyUAA are constantly in motion, and to that end, and after many requests, I am proud to announce that we have a new way to fly here at FlyUAA along with a new rank structure this change will take effect on April 2, 2016. Below I will outline the changes, but rest assured that one thing will never change, and that is the concept of you fly what you want, where you want, when ever you want. So now for a list of changes: 1. Gone are the CAT restrictions. 2. You will make more virtual dollars to spend in the Pilot Shop. 3. We now have 4 Divisions within UAA. 4. We now have 4 types of callsigns. 5. We no…

It is a great pleasure to announce that TexAir Virtual Airlines has returned to the virtual skies after a long hiatus. We have a great, fully-functional, new website (at our old location texairvirtual.org I might add) with lots of features and awards for pilots to pursue. We return with the same all-Boeing mainline fleet and that one-of-a-kind massive flight schedule similar to that of a legacy carrier, but with lots of routes no one flies thrown in. We've upgraded our terminals at all of our old hubs in Austin, Denver, Las Vegas, Portland, Minneapolis, Washington, and Tampa - once again making it obvious why everything is bigger about Texas. What has changed is our atti…
