I have been tweaking my Fleet page, and now have it so it splits the aircraft into groups, and lists the unavailable ones at the bottom, as under maint

thanks, but does not work

Hi, just a bit of help needed, on my pilots page, I have the current location displayed, but I can only get it to show the ICAO using How can I get it to also show the NAME, I have tried $report->arrname; but that does not work any ideas?
-
oooh, you are a bitchy lot. the Owner of the Va is happy, and thats all that counts. Can I say I hate your design too? or I guess you would be offended, and I would get a load of abuse back I could not give two whoots who likes it, and how much thought went into it, it is what he asked for.

The fleet design work was given to UKMIL, and here is the result here is the first release, the Airbus A319

what price are you willing to pay per repaint?

THanks Jeff, not too sure how to use that code tho? I assume it goes in the Schedule_results.tpl, but where? it seems to be a script that simply shows your current location? I am looking for a way to skip [continue] past a flight, if it does not start at your current location, much like the drop down box does. But I want it to automatically load that page without having to select it manually. The Schedule_search page currently has this which sets the pre-selection of the results to all, and allows you to select your departure, but is there a way to alter this to automatically select your current location, without having to do it manually?

this may have been covered, but my search has not found a solution. As my Schedule list grows, I am wondering if there is a way to only show flights that a pilot can actually do? At present, the full list shows, and the pilot can limit the selection manually by selecting his airport from the drop down, but is there a way to alter the list, so it automatically only shows flights from the airport he is located? I see no point in showing him any others since he is unable to bid on them?

BUMP. does anyone know where to place the code above. my attempts to get this to work have failed

care to share how you did it? i have tried and not managed it

Is there a way, that one off routes can be added to the schedules. For example, i may create a one off flight, say on a Saturday from A to B. Is there a way, that on completion of the route by the first pilot to Bid and file the Pirep, the route can either be hidden for the rest of that day, or even deleted? at present, as soon as the pirep is filed, the route becomes available straight away. but the aircraft in that route is no longer at 'A' but is now at 'B'
-
Yip, that did it, thanks Now, i think i will need to work out, how to add the current pilots location to the Pilots roster, like I have with my Fleet page for the aircraft.
-
thanks, i knew it would be something i did

did not work http://forum.phpvms.net/topic/5309-modified-simpilots-frontschedule-search/page__st__20

I just tried your code, only in the schedule_results page, and it gave me this this is my page, which i probably did something incorrect
-
does that make -2 to me
-
come on, he waited a whole 1 hr 50 mins
-
thanks, I will give it a go and let you know

mm, odd, I cannot seem to get this on mine? my pilots can select any bid they wish from any airport, regardless of where they last landed care to share how you managed it?
-
this thread is mainly for the author of phpvms. it may be something for you to think about in the next release. Is there someway, you can only allow a pilot to select a bid, on a route from the airport he was last at? I know, using the fleet pages etc, you can tell via the last pirep where an aircraft is, so it must be possible. So if a pilot flies from A to B, only allow him to add bids that Start at B, and not A?

ok, found a problem with my code, told you I was never that good at this the part in the AVAILABLE list, which either hides, or places 'in use' against it has an error it only works on one aircraft. So if you only have one aircraft in flight, it works, which is how tested it BUT, if you have multiple aircraft, the code only seems to pick on the last aircraft listed in the IN FLIGHT table, and uses that data in the AVAILABLE table. sO no matter how many aircraft are flying, you will only ever see one hidden, or listed as in use does any coder know where I have gone wrong, and a way to fix it? I suspect it is this since the first bit of code in the tpl, takes each aircraft in turn , and puts it in the IN FLIGHLT board, the one aircraft 'left in memory' when it moves into the top table, is the one it hides how can i force the table to check every aircraft in the acars data?

is there a way, we can create a section where the admin can BOOT a pilot from a flight in progess? If I see a pilot, unteraking a bid, and then a flight they should not, instead of waiting to refuse the Pirep, is there some sort of way an admin module can be written to 'kick' them off the flight via acars, and stop them from carrying on?
