euroglide-lee did you happen to see how old this thread is? This template has been worked on and from What I understand, he took it down and was revamping it to run with the new system. I stand to be corrected if I am wrong.

Ok I was beginning to wonder. I have checked all my code until I was blue in the face and went and looked at all the template edits and all and everything looked good. And yes this is the only time I see it happen is when a NOTAM is sent out. I just sent a test mail to my girlfriends pilot account she uses and it don't happen. Then I posted a NOTAM immediately after and there it was. Thanks for confirming this for me. I was beginning to pull my hair out on this one. I am real surprised this went on this long without getting reported. I noticed it some time back but thought the problem was from me modifying the templates so much.

Or take this one and complete it. I believe if it is released as open source then it should be open for further development by other users as well as the original authors credits remain in places as well. It should be like phpBB runs theirs. So many good addons or ones with major potential are just getting wasted or going by the way side because no one furthers the script. It definitely is too dam bad.

No one else have this issue? I have heavily modified the code with this module, but nothing that should make it appear twice like the pilots list on ObsessBlue.

I think the author has abandoned this project yet one more time. He has not been seen around here for a long time now. He actually did not give a read me file with install instructions with the addon. He posted the install to githtub website or something like that and now the post is gone along with the install directions. I would not even bother trying. I get rid of every link to it on my site. I would uninstall it and scrap it if I had the iunstall instructions to run in reverse.

There is an option for that. You have to un-comment some line in one of the files. If you use the search feature, you should find a very recent post i made about this. Right off the top of my head I do not recall what file it is. But in that post I talked about, I point the file right out.

I was not able to fix it. Most of all 6 of my pilots use the schedule search. Only a couple of us are using real schedule. So really for me it is no big deal since there are only a whopping 6 whole pilots on my roster. When and IF I ever get more pilots, I will be majorly concerned over this if I did away with schedule search and only used real schedule.

Another issue my self and a few others have bumped in to was after purchasing items, when you click the pilots home page you can not see the items that you purchased. The reason, it is not populating the database with the item that you purchased.

Patience grasshopper! Nabeel is busy with real life like most others. No need for 2 posts 2 minutes apart. Nabeel is always willing to help when he gets on. Give him time and ye shall be answered. There are some pretty smart cats around here that have been with phpVMS for a very long time now and know their way around the code. Why not post your answer here and see if anyone else knows the answer to your needs. You might just get an answer quicker than waiting on Nabeel.

Why I am posting here is beyond me. We are all VA CEO's here but here goes anyhow. Thunder VA is looking for a few pilots and staff members. We are new and fresh and wanting to get started in a bad kind of way. I really need help though. We will be opening up the site for our pilots that wish to fly on Vatsim or anywhere else they wish to fly at. Are we the best? No not at all. Are we the worst? I would like to hope not. All we are is a small group of guys that wish to fly and have some good old fashioned fun. No more joining a VA and it turning out to be a job. This is a video game and we wish to keep it that way. I have one now that is good for about 1 aircraft a year it seems. No joking. Serious as a heart attack. We will pay our staff members a weekly salary starting at 5k virtual cash per week and up. After all these months I just noticed that when I send a new message out, it shows me two airmail tables. Does anyone else have any problems at all with duplicate tables? And example of what I am talking about is the same thing that was happening with the piulots page on the ObsessBlue template. And that is the one that I use. However, I have removed all of the Java off of that page and everything elsde that was causing the heart ache on the pilots page with ObsessBlue. Duhhh I am a moron. Just go in the core/templates/core_navigation.tpl and edit the home link. Best yet, instead of editing that file, upload a copy of that file to the ObsessBlue template and edit that one instead. If you over write the original, it will get overwritten in an update

Are you referring to the black and blue buttons across the top or are you talking the menu on the left? If it is the one up top, it is a css deal. Somewhere I have posted about this before and sso has someone else. I would have to go back and dig through 680 posts of mine to find it. Try a quick search and I will to. That is a hard one to answer really. I think everyone's flavor of design is different. I love 3 column on home page and no columns at all on other pages. I love the idea of a drop down menu up top and no navigation at all on the left. If a cool looking generic logo is created, then how about a psd file to go with it maybe so one can alter it for their own VA needs? No scrolling marquee. I find most people hate them in spite of how much I like them in certain situations. The ends are limitless. I guess in the end it is up to you. I know your work and it is great. I would consider using anything you release. And yeah, I figure you would have more input on this one too opening it up the way you did. But you know once you create the new skin and release it, a million and 1 people will throw all kinds of stuff at you that you should have done or should not have done. I believe as soon as you access that file it switches the altered date to the day you visited it last. Atleast mine on cpanel does. Just my $0.02 on that one. And now back to the regularly scheduled program already in progress.

Ok then in that case, if it were me and it was a virgin install, I would try to re upload all of the core phpvms files. Core meaning the entire package. If you have any addons, well then I would re consider that move. Just for sh*ts and giggles, are you on paid hosting or free hosting? Also, make sure your log files in core folder are chmod to writeable. Then go to local_config.php and set the debug to true. Then go back and do what you did to get the error and then go and check your log and let me know what it tells you.

Not possible. I added that 2 times as a requested feature in the requested features thread. I am not so sure we will see that one though as it would require a major overhaul of code I am sure. Have you edited any php files at all on your site? That error is normally, not always, caused by a white space before or after a php opening or closing tag. I stand to be corrected if I am wrong in this case. I know in phpBB forums, 9 out of 10 times that is the reason for that error.

Fellas, I am proud to say after reading all of these posts, I probably have the crapiest system out of anyone now days. 3 kids and college student loans later does not allow me to spend money on computer stuff. My system is 2 years old. It is a Compaq which is problem number one. 1 gb ram, 3.2 Intel Celeron. Yeah.... you heard correct a Celeron. No video or sound card 8 mb on board. Was 64 with Vista but as soon as I ditched Vista and put XP Pro on it, I lost video numbers. Oh and a whole whopping 120gb hard drive that is 73% free space. It is all ok though because I crank out 20 fps locked on the ground and sky with sliders maxed. AND I can also run FSX no problems on medium settings provided I do not install any of the service packs for FSX. As soon as I do, I get a video error and can not use it anymore. I am more than surprised FS 2004 runs as good as it does on this old clunker. I am even more surprised that I can run FSX. All these big fancy systems out there and my FS2004 runs just as good if not better than some of them I have seen. Simply amazing huh? I need to benchmark this old pile one of these days to find out what exactly she is doing inside. And lets not forget that when flying online with others, please lock your frames at 20 so some of the older junkier computers do not get booted. The human eye can not detect anything above 30fps I believe it is so why bother right?
