Not leaving til tomorrow night now and have some time to kill. From the error I posted, does it seem that that is indeed my issue is the installer? When I clicked on the acars device installer, it popped up a screen that listed all of my aircraft BUT my payware and freeware. Oops, that was a lie. It picked up 2 of my payware. So I take it this is the wrong place to be? Other then that, I think I am good to go. I got it to connect to flight sim and all. Thanks for the help on this. I appreciate it.

Ok so I am a dork. I think I got it figured out but not sure. I ned to go and read the help file for FSFK. When I ran the installer, I did not realize that I had to install it to each aircraft I have installed or something like that. BUT it dont list all the aircraft that I have installed.

ok cool. Thats what I did. I even went into FSFK and installed the live ACARS device, but when I get my fp all setup and try to connect, it tells me that it cant connect ( server response: Live Acars server not found (404). I will investigate and see if this is a Ray error or FSFK issue that I skipped.

Ok I read the doc on how to setup and use from the end user point of view. You mention a FSFK folder in lib...... I do not have that. I am really trying to get this working before I need to split and go to chicago. Can point me in the right direction? For the record, I have set up my config file and saved it just like if I DID have that folder in lib. Thanks guys. Ray

Yeah CPC900 I just realized that a few minutes ago actually. I am normally a very strong preacher when it comes to searching which I failed to do this time. I am kind of scatter brained right now as I just found out that my step mother has passed away of congestive heart failure. Right now I have put it all on hold until I am not sure when. So we actually still need to use FSACARS along with FSFK? I am kind of lost somewhere I suppose. I set up my FSFK and tried it and I never showed up on my live map.

That is exactly why I have not activated the airline yet. I have everything in place, but not active. I think if they are registered in the first place, then in the schedules page where you can sort flights by aircraft, departure, etc, etc, then one should be able to choose by which airline as well. that would be cool. Multiple registrations or having to switch the pilot each time would render it pointless. BUT that is just my 2 cents worth. I know Cargo flight are an option allready with just 1 airline active, but I have talked to interested guys that for the most part enjoy flying LONG hauls and HEAVY. And from time to time they enjoy a little charter or a quick passengers flight. I would prefer to keep the cargo seperate for this very reason.

I have FS Flight keeper and have never even tried it on site yet. I guess Im too lazy or trying to get everything else in order first.

I got some great addons for my Home brew kit. I brew my own beer! Too dam broke to get anything else. ;-) Spent it all on the kids. Got them a Wii and allllll kinds of crap to go with it. Burnt almost 700 between the wii and everything to go with it.

What about the admin changing airline account?

So I got it working out ok, but switching the css around jacked up the vast majority of my site. I will have a go at this sooner or later now that I know what is wrong. I really do appreciate all the help you guys gave me on this one.

Thanks Nabeel. I have went round and round with this. I am not sure why I added a font color to white in my body to begin with. 1st round of trying to skin for phpVMS and it did not go so well. I need to stick to integration of forums and mods it seems and hire out my skinning work. I suck at it so bad it is not even funny ;D

Ok that would be great. I found a place to turn it on and off in logging, but that wont do any good. I looked again once today when my frustration level was at a 0 and still a no go on finding anything to switch from lbs to gal

Ok here goes. Now I feel like a noob starting all over again. I understand that I have a choice in the admin section between Passengers, Charter, and cargo flights. I want one division strictly for Passengers and Charters. I want to create a new airline in my install that is ONLY for cargo service. All I have done so far is create a new airline in my install. So my question is, Do i/we (pilots) need to register again on my site if we/they choose to fly for the cargo service? And if so, do we need to use seperate email addys? I am sure on everything else such as schedules and fleet goes. The couple above were my only concerns. Thanks Ray

Ok man, this is really aching my back side bad. If I go ahead and change my site to accept pounds like ACARS insists on reporting, will it convert the correct price per gallon then? Example below, 04:25 Final Fuel: 10533 Lbls 04:25 Spent Fuel: 14030 Lbls That is what ACARS sent to my site in the log. In the edit pirep section of admin before accepting it, it wanted to charge me for 14030 gallons The flight in question lost 35k. When I fixed it to calculate how many gallons I burned, it went into a + income for the flight. I have looked until I was blue in the face and I for the life of me can not find anywhere to make FS ACARS report in gallons and not pounds. I was thinking that since I have the config on my website set to gallons, that it would convert that pounds to gallons and then put that number in the pirep. Wrong!!! ;D Easy fix, just change my config to pounds and go with that instead? It appears that I am going to have to manually alter each pirep that is filed with FSACARS and that is just not an option. Open for suggestions, questions, and/or comments at this time. Ray

Please someone correct me if I am wrong, but the out of space error seems familiar to me. I got that once when I ran out of disc space on my hosting package. Am I saying that is the prob now? No. BUT it seems as though the host could easily be out of space.

Stuff like that happens from time to time ;-) I just went and used good ol' FS Navigator. That is how I figure most of my stuff out as far as schedules go anyhow.

If this is a bug I will go fill out the info over at the other site. In this version, is the auto calculate distances NOT supposed to work when adding schedules? I hit the link and it remains at 0. it wont pull up a distance.

yeah I looked in there once. I was probably so frustrated by that time that I simply over looked it. I will go and have a look at that file 1 more time. Thanks!

oops. my bad. :-[ I thought he meant as in general like a support/chat line here. Flash Chat is a great chat app as well, but it is 5$ and not so sure it would integrate into phpVMS like using user info and such.

The map works great. When you mouse over a pilot and click on them, the bubble that shows up is white with no text visible. If you left click and drag on the bubble, it highlights the text that is supposed to show up normally.

Version 2.0.854 is available for download! Please update ASAP Am I missing something here? ;D This is the latest you have available.
