  1. HostGator fits AALv's needs perfectly! Only one downtime ever (their data center back in August) for only a few hours, fast loading, lots of space, easy backups, as many utilities as you can get to make your experience better, 24/7 support, and much much more on the technical side.
  2. Is Simpilot's mail server still down?
  3. Hello ladies and gents, My staff and I have come across that we need schedules - our goal is to have at least 2000 - 3000 more American Airlines schedules than we have already! We have around 35 USD ($35) ready to pay, preferred if someone could use a script to pull schedules from the FlightAware API. Please PM or skype chase.reid81 as I'm interested in receiving them today maybe.
  4. Same here, i really want to buy two things (schedules and points) from you simpilot.

  10. Ladies and gentleman, I'd like to introduce you, the official promotional video for American Virtual of 2013! Everyone and enjoy
  11. I'm looking for a system for hub managers to manage pilots. it would go along the lines of having a different group for the hub managers in our system. And if you have the hub manager group permissions, you have access to something like the admin center but different. In the hub manager center, all you'd have to do is add/delete pilots, and change the pilots group from active and inactive. In addition the hub manger would have access to the fleeting and routing section of their very own center. Who can design such a system? I think it would be fairly easy for a seasoned PHP/MySQL programmer. I'm willing to pay anywhere for $20-$80 dollars on such a program for my virtual airline. Please reply to this topic, PM me, or add me on Skype chase.reid81 as we need to get the ball rolling and this feature going ASAP. Thank you,
  12. Yes same here, Issue with phpVMS definitely, tested with both kACARs_free and our custom smartCARs.
  13. kACARs_free presents the problem still from my experience
  14. For any American Airlines Virtual, I found from the real American if you use the name American Virtual you'd not be infringing any copyrights whatsoever due to the fact that word "American" is a demonym. Other than that, you'd have to contact the intellectual property offices and go through a process, I and other American Virtuals have had to go through it. Some airlines are more lenient to a certain virtual airline but by no means does that virtual airline have any relationship whatsoever with the airline unless its BAWv. Therefore, the real airline can request you discontinue using their name and logo at any time no matter which virtual airline you are. Although, I've heard someone say that if you changed the logo and name you may continue operating with the same meaning and same scheme as the real world airline without using their intellectual property. A good example is a US Airways Virtual which went from that to USAVA, and changed the logo and continues to operate from this day. Color scheme I believe cannot be copyrighted, colors can't be copyrighted therefore if any case arises you'd probably win due to the fact that company simply cannot "own" a hex code. That's just my opinionated-response, I'm not sure if the same would apply for the airline you're trying to contact with regards for permission, contracting, etc.
  15. Hey Antonio (hehe) My dude can hook you up for free, awesome notification system! Advertise the facebook integration in the page services, or my guy can also do it for you for free. MaciejO has a dispatch system in place of the generic brief $25.00 i believe, Simpilot has entrace exam for $40.00 Hostgator hosting is between $0.01 and $7.00 for me throw in the domain which is around $11.00 / mo from namecheap. I can aid you with billingual for free, and also post iphone app request in paid service. Your total should be around your budget my friend!
  16. Hello all, We first started many months ago, and we've progressed very far. A new website is being designed in addition to many more features: - Hub Manager Center - Facebook integration - Point system/pilot shop - In-flight entertainment system We're now a member of the Virtual One World Alliance, and we're keeping our numbers up! More than a half of year in business, almost 250 pilots! Average of 16-17 flights a day, VATSIM certified airline and pursuing Authorized Training Organization status, a large forum and community Facebook group. A dedicated pilot base on social media places (over 200 in our Facebook group now). Social media wise we now reach over 4000 people daily on Facebook, and reaching 600 likes on Facebook. We've grown strong and will be approaching a year soon, and our name is rising quickly in the VATSIM.net community, and we're truly showing many how dedication can beat all odds and because of that we're proud to say by pilots' choice, we're one of the best American Virtuals' out there. Just to keep you updated on what's happening We're now passing the 90s on VACentral, and expected to continue bursting through the ranks like we have been. We started at around 160 in March/April. It's amazed me how much we've grown from a small group of pilots to moving the world of flight simulation and virtual airlines in the forward direction. Lets keep it up Regards, Chase And with that we give you a preview of our new site, coming soon loaded with the new features that some virtual airlines have not yet done and the most realistic and accurate fleet, schedules, hubs and much more:

    need help

Yes, like Sava said: Create a file in called frontpage_main.tpl in your skin folder. /lib/skins/yourskinname Place any and all HTML/CSS/JS you want to be displayed or PHP for the frontpage. Echo the page content again, and what you want to show up will be there along with the functionality of all the pages.
  18. We would maybe buy a few payware planes and make the points redeemable for those aircraft, in addition maybe apparel, ranking, jumpseating, etc.
  19. Can someone design a point system. Administrators would be able to add points to a pilots account, these points may be then redeemable for certain things within the virtual airline. Thanks My budget is 20-30 dollars on this one
  20. Hey, Yep I run Arum with a few buds and we offer many things along the lines of design and provide exact replicate results, etc If ya interested feel free to add me on skype: chase.reid81 and no were not super expensive but provide some of the best results hope your interested
