TAV1702 Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 If you can code it, anything is possible. I recommend checking out Toms thread in the addons/releases. With permission from Simpilot, Tom has updated and modified this module. But yeah I agree with you, that would be a sweet feature.
Administrators simpilot Posted March 7, 2011 Author Administrators Report Posted March 7, 2011 Hi, Another question that may have been answered, Is it possible to show the latest forum posts and who posted it on the frontpage? Thanks in advance Scott You could create a function in your data class to pull the latest posts pretty easy I think. As Ray said too, check on Tom's thread with his extended VA Forum, he has done a lot more with the code than this version has.

Tom Posted January 24, 2015 Report Posted January 24, 2015 Hello I just installed this word that I find nice I want to know it can block access to the visited only the registered member of the site will be able to access the forum mod There's an updated version with a bunch of security fixes and also blocks guests: https://github.com/tomsterritt/VAForum2
Administrators simpilot Posted January 24, 2015 Author Administrators Report Posted January 24, 2015 This module has been extended by Tom and source code is available here -> https://github.com/tomsterritt/VAForum2 <- the forum thread is here -> http://forum.phpvms.net/topic/3748-vaforum-2/ I would recommend using the extended version. Locking thread as module is no longer relevant or current.
