Is it safe?

Hello.

A simple question please, is it safe to delete an airline in the admin/and and edit airlines?  In the case I want to remove Pan American

I believe it will affect your schedules those with the airlines.

I have already removed the schedule for Pan Am, so that shouldn't affect it?

If you have removed the schedules, then it shouldn't but it may cause problems with any pireps that have been flown

Thank you for the advice. 

 I kind of thought the pireps could be a problem. Probably best to leave it alone then.

You can just deactivate the airline, so it is not a choice when people sign up to your VA

Yeah it's best to just disable it. I have some issues filed on blocking those if its in use by aircraft/flights/pireps

I am just on a test v7 server right now. So when you make an airline Inactive by Unchecking the Active box.  Would it effect members that chose that airline in Registration? Could there be any problems there? Just checking since Most of us are just testing still.

No, they'll still be of that airline. They just won't be able to chose flights, etc, from that
