HI i want to refine the registration code to further sanitise against white spaces at the end of the names firstname lastname. I have been looking at the rtrim functions in php, just wondering the best way to add this or even if there is a better function to use in the existing registration array. $data = array( 'firstname' => $this->post->firstname, 'lastname' => $this->post->lastname, Cheers.

Hello, I'm running cron on my site and getting these errors by email: I have looked any more space in the core files, and can not resolve the problem. I installed a clean version of phpvms to test and gave the same error on clean install... Can anyone help me?

I'm in the process of moving our VA to phpvms from another system and I have to say that the possibilities here are amazing. I did search the forums but didn't find a relevant topic. Our site is in the early stages of development with a very standard Crystal skin, and things are going very smoothly, but I found a slight problem from the Admin panel. If I try to add or edit the news I see the title box but nowhere to edit or add the news text. On the side bar it has the tips from the email page (insert pilots name, etc) but nothing relevant to news text. Nothing has been edited or changed in this area, it's just the way it was when it was installed. Is there anything that…

Hello, The server I use was just down for days...they ended up having to reload everything from an out of date backup. Unfortunately my pilots have now lost quite a few of their flights. This makes me unhappy.. I was wondering if I could setup a (i think its called cron) command that would automatically backup the database on my server and send the file to another server I use. I use a cron to do daily maintenance on the site tables etc...and was oping I could do the same thing with a backup. I am hoping to automate it as there are times when I can be away from a computer for up to a week at a time because of work, so my manual backups won't be adequate. Any help woul…

How can I position the text for the boarding pass so that it will stay in place no matter what? I can do it now, but it's a adjusted to my screen size, and on my laaptop it's way off. Question for all the PHP guru's out there. I'm looking to restrict content based on days since the pilot was hired. Something like after "X" amount of days certain content will automatically show up in the pilot center. My whole idea is to make pilots wait to get certain perks, add-on liveries, etc. without them having access to it on day one then leaving the VA. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. What one does everyone use just now? For the default one, I get the 'no bids have been made' message, despite there being 10-15 bids in the Admin Panel. I donwloaded Roger's and that other guy's, but they're both 2 years old. Don't know what to do...

Is their a way for me to edit the code so that upon registration of a new pilot, depending on which hub they choose be put into a certain pilot group. So Pilot # = Hub Choice = Pilot Group Pilot A = chooses hub A = Hub A Pilots Pilot B - Chooses hub B = Hub B Pilots This will make it easier for the admin to send pilot emails that are only important or relevant to pilots at a certain hub Thanks in advanced Regards JCA003

How can you set a pilots location. If i move a pilot to a new hub they can only fly aircraft from their old hub. I want it if you are moved hubs you can fly from the new hub. Any Ideas Regards JCA003 DISREGARD I FIXED IT

I have this code being used on my system and I want to ensure this happens, User input is, john doe acb1234 Convert to, John Doe ABC1234 So first letter in the names are upper case, airline code is capitals. I have been looking at, I already have the variable $pilot_id_full outputting correctly. $pilot_id_full = $fname.' '.$lname.' '.$code; So i was thinking, $pilot_id_full = ucfirst ($fname.' '.$lname).' '.$code; Not tested by the way just is why im after a bit of guidance of the best way to achieve this.

Hello My Airline Juliana Connect is going we but the only thing is the real schedule lite seems to have mucked up. I Have an aircraft in an airport where it shouldn't be and when pilots jump seat to other airports it says they "are not at this airport" so they cant't fly the aircraft back. IF there a way I can fix this jump seating problem and also is there something i can do so the aircraft can be reset back to its original airport (like it has been automatic flown back) It seams to me that this module works for some and not for others. Hi all, I have searched the forums and have got some things sorted but i have come up against a hurdle. I have added a new profile field field for in the admin centre for Vatsim id and i have it displayed in the pilots profile ok . In the pilot roster i have got the new heading of VATSIM ID at the top of the table which i added by using the pilot list tpl but i dont know how to call the info from the pilot profile to the pilot roster. Do i need another code and where would i put it. Hope somebody can help. Thanks in advance.

I usually don't check the VA finances but I did that today and I had stuff to see. A picture tells more than a 1000 words. How did this happen? I have fuel set to 0.36 as I calculated from my visit to the JAT Airways flight operations this year. Can someone help me with this? edit; solved! one flight of mine where the fs crashed had a wrong fuel calculation.
