Hi there, I couldn't find a topic like this, so I decided to start a new one. I have a very simple problem. When a pilot makes a bid for a flight, the flight usually disappears in the schedule because it is already booked. Lately, this does not happen anymore. When a pilot makes a bid for a flight, the flight is still available for other pilots in the schedules. I know it is a configuration problem. But I wasn't able to find the place (file) where to set the config for this problem. Could you please help me? Best regards, Chris.

Hello I am currently unable to get onto my VA's website. Wierd thing is I seem to be the only one every one else is logging on fine. When I go to the URL I get an automatic download and then the website doesn't load. Below is what the download is: some php stuff.

OK, All serious, We decided to move the files of the website to the main domain, than we discoverd that the website wasnt appearing, just Plain Blank.. So, we moved it back to the original place and it still doing something, can we have some help and alot of help would be appreciated.. Also The Install directory dosent work aswell.

Hey guys, I been trying to figure out how I can make it work when a new pilot joins, I want the email to be sent out to three different people and I tried many methods like... $email = 'ceo@va.com, coo@va.com'; But It didn't work. Can anyone guide me in of what I am doing wrong? Thanks!

Hello, I'm having a problem with the payments of the pilots, when the pilot sends the PIREP, the pilotpay is always 0.00. I have a basic knowledge in php, could someone tell me where the file responsible for calculating the pilotpay? If you tell me what is the file, or how to fix this bug, I'll be grateful.

Hello there, I have just installed phpVMS on my webhost and I am a rookie at this system to be fair. I have installed it, it's working well, but there's one issue which happens to be that I cannot login. It says "Invalid login or password...". I am using information I provided during install, and it does not let me log in. When I do "Forgot Password", it does not send anything to my e-mail. Whichever way you put it, I'm locked out. I even tried this. Nothing. Any ideas? I'd appreciate some hints/help Kind Regards, HighFlyer

this may have been covered, but my search has not found a solution. As my Schedule list grows, I am wondering if there is a way to only show flights that a pilot can actually do? At present, the full list shows, and the pilot can limit the selection manually by selecting his airport from the drop down, but is there a way to alter the list, so it automatically only shows flights from the airport he is located? I see no point in showing him any others since he is unable to bid on them?

If I were to add another field in the .csv to import to my site, what are the steps to have it recognize the new field when I try to import it? The field I want to add is Services which will include the type of services offered for the particular flight (meals, refreshments, snacks, etc.).

A whole bunch of my routes have the same distance, 4674.1nm, regardless of whether I run the recalculation script. I have cleared the cache and optimized the tables just to be safe, FYI. I am running the latest version of phpVMS with no schedule modules installed. I appreciate any help I can get to resolve this other than going through one by one and changing the distances, as it's quite a few!

OK, first of all I know that a lot of folk on here are in major debt in their finances. Obviously with the high fuel prices, overcoming them and expenses are a big challenge. What makes it harder for us is we are a low-cost airline. I recently jacked up the prices a bit to try to cover costs more, however, if you see the real-world low-cost airlines like easyJet, Ryanair and Jet2, they can all cope - with prices as low as £10 or less. Now the big difference here is number of flights. They will fly hundreds to thousands of flights per day (Ryanair flies over 1500 and easyJet over 900) and that will of course add to fuel costs. But if we have a low fuel consumption scheme…
