Updated to 1.2 and now the map doesnt work on Live Map link, http://www.easternvirtualairways.com/eva/index.php/acars but it works fine on all other pages. Winmerg says files are identical ??? Dave.

Hi, I'm setting up phpVMS for a friend of mine on a Windows Server package we just bought (shared between a couple of FS sites) It is running PHP5 and MySQL v5..the install went flawlessly, but only the home page works. Every time I try to login or visit any page (i.e. index.php/<any page here>), I get this: CGI Error The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. I suspect its a Windows Server issue, but I thought I'd ask...is there any way this can be fixed??

Hey everyone, Supplemental update has been posted, fixing a few issues. Just download it as usual, and run the /install/update.php This also adds a 'description' field to the downloads, and the dashboard graph slowness has (hopefully) been fixed. Nabeel

Hi Nabeel and all, I absolutely love the new stuff.... Nice job. One small problem I have encountered. I did a complete new install of the latest and I seem to get a really slow admin panel. Maybe I am missing something. If I go to admin panel and let the page propagate fully it takes a long time and I end up with an error as follows Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/applelod/public_html/vms/core/lib/pchart/pChart.class.php on line 363 If I click on another menu item before the timeout I do get the other pages to show but again very long delays. The rest of the site works at normal speed. Any ideas where I shouls start looking ? …

Hi Nabeel, i would like to also capture the ip address of someone who sends a mail from the contact us page on the site, I have added the hidden field, <input type="hidden" name="IP Address" value= is it just the case of some code there to complete like <?php echo (ipaddr ?>" /> Also once a mail has been sent it redirects to a blank page where is this so i can make it a but more friendly. Thanks.

I have no idea what happened but the signatures when from the design i had to the old phpvms which was okay, but now there all gone....i look in the ftp nothing is there but the index.php, background.png and thats it....all the sigs are gone....i generated new ones and nothing is still showing up...what did i do wrong...lol

Hi Nabeel many thanks for the update - looking at the changelog this will be an excellent release! Just a couple of things to run past you: when the site had finished updating, it gave me errors saying access denied on the js folder. The internet guest account had read and execute permissions on the folder, but to remove the error I had to give it write permissions. Is that correct? Also, I notice my version number is still 1.1.458 and saying there is the 1.2 update available, although my admin centre has the new layout. When I try to add a category to the downloads section, I type the name and click Add Category, but nothing happens. I refreshed the page to check i…

I dont know if its down or what but i updated, got no errors and by the way i love 1.2, just thought i would say that. But back to the topic the acars map dosent seem to show in firefox....shows just fine and dandy in IE...so i just thought i would throw that out there... And also when i updated for some reason not all but there are a couple of flights that when from having aircraft to now having any....nothing big just thought i would let you know of this as well.

Is it possible that the system offers several flights with only one flight number? My VA uses a flight number for a flight with several departure and arrival times. For exemple: ABC001 DEP: 08:00a ARR 09:30a | 123456- ABC001 DEP: 08:15a ARR 09:45a | ------7 Cheers, Chris

Hi everyone Two questions: Is there any way currently of keeping the last email address used stored in a cookie or the like for the login screen, and if not is it able to be in an update? Also, is there anything planned for a mass registration section for the admin? For example, our VA has about 20 pilots, and I wish to get them all registered with the new system before it is live, but I don't really want to spend 2 hours typing in all their details one by one into the registration page. Is that something that can be added to the Admin Centre? Many thanks

Hello Gents ,, am now testing the lovely phpVMS on my localhost ... it seem to be fine until i reach the last step where i put my Airline info. , i insert the Airliner name and ICAO code ... it ends up with the error " Table 'phpvms.phpvms_airlines' doesn't exist '' ... any ideas why this happen ??! I just moved my files into a folder, so I could have that splash page. I did that while editing the local.config.php in order for the links to work. Everything is great, but I can't create a page now, or even edit one. It says there is an error.

Hello, I just installed this, and its great BTW ! Thanks for all the hard work. I may have done something wrong in the install...I have some problems I just can't seem to figure out. First.. The Dashboard tells me I need to upgrade, although I have the latest version...( should I just ignore that or is that a symptom of something else ) Second... My pilots cannot make the avatars work. They won't upload. My avatars folder has 777 permissions. Third.... and I have already posted this is a different forum... The rank images aren't showing up. This new update is going to be awesome without a doubt but for me personally i dont want the finance side of it. I have FSPAX and hated it lol and i was on FSAirlines system before VMS and didnt like having to earn cash to pay for leases and aircraft etc, its all too much like real life lol. Will there be a way of disabling it or maybe release a Finance free version?

What are hours measured in? (Tenths of an hour or hour/min.) According to the PIREPS, it says to file it as hour/min., but one of my pilots has 173.87 hours.

Hey, just a question, or maybe a feature request. Is it possible to set pilot ranks as admin ranks, or force change ranks? Because my virtual airlines (Virtual Norwegian Airforce) depends on certain people having different ranks and access to different parts of the admin center. Is that possible? Mathias

Hi Nabeel, I set up the 'phpvms' va software and it worked perfectly and this morning it surprized me with the following prompt: "Fatal error: Function name must be a string in C:xampphtdocsphpvmscoreclassesMySQL.class.php on line 134" Where (which folder) can I fix it? The other part of the website works fine except phpvms and the phpbb3 forum inturface. Both of them return the prompt above. when I try to access them. Hi Guys, I need some help When I run FSacars several things seem wrong. Firstly, the Flight from VA will not coonect to our site. Message is cant communicate with VA. 2nd. I use Fsacars (ini file from site). It shows me on the live map and moniotrs progress OK. If you click on the pilot ID and the maker on google map shows, when you click on the detail in the google marker it goes to an html page that says this Pilot does not exist. Finally, when I finfish the flight and send the log etc I get error : databae error, not sent. Of course it does not file the pirep. If anyone knows where I am goinhg wrong please let me know Thanks in advance John
