  1. I do not really see anything out there for Frontier as far as sometype of a live data feed for schedules. They have a number of options here - http://www.frontierairlines.com/frontier/flight-info/timetable-finder.do but I do not see anything in a format that would really be usable for what you are trying to do. It may be the manual method of inputing all the schedules.
  2. Not sure what you mean by it not laying out on the resource..... I have the files at home and will load them up this evening (USA EST) to the original thread so they are available.
  3. Alright, I am working on the pilot tracking/rating part of this.... Is there any reason to apply points on a scale, ie 1 to 10, or something, or just simply one point per event flown. An extra point for signing up ahead of time? Being ready for your time slot? idk, just thinking.
  4. @ ARTJOM - Not sure what you mean, the script wwas reposted with an included license.... @ Tom - You are correct, but after watching one individual start to sell a script he was not totally responsible for writing, and then also want to charge to install it I figured it was just a matter of time. I want everyone to be able to use the work I am responsible for, not just the ones that have a few dollars to spend. I realize there is always going to be someone that uses other peoples work in a way that may not be proper, I believe adding the license gets me closer to my goal. I hope you understand.
  5. I have reposted the module in the first post of this thread with an included license.
  6. File posted again with license included in first post of this thread. Please respect the license.
  7. I had worked on coding a new version with the admin side being incorporated in the admin side of phpVMS but got frustrated with the bitwise permission values and set it down. I will get the license added to this version and get it posted, maybe someday I will pick up the next version again.
  8. Hey guys, does a counter to tell you how many events a pilot has flown make sense....?
  9. In this form including the license it will remain indefinitly.
  10. It has not been down for four weeks, but it has been reposted with a license inclued. The script can not be sold or profited from in any way, this includes charging someone to install it for them.
  11. You never close the foreach loop or the last table cell or row. try adding this between 43 and 44. </td> </tr> <?php } ?>
  12. Getting There Creating a seperate auth for events in the admin side will probably not get done right now. I have it tied to the news right now. I have tried to change the bitwise values that are used to determine the admin permissions with disastorious results. That will be last thing.
  13. I will dig around their site when I get a chance this weekend, I am not sure about Frontier. I know United and Southwest have decent feeds.
  14. Gentleman, in my opinion you are missing one thing about this. First, everyone knows who we are talking about, if you do a search on him in any of the flight-sim related forums, especially flightsimworld, you will find many a thread with his self serving propaganda in it. You are right when you say that he is just out to shut down as many competitors as he can, I was contacted as many others were, and he never seemed to be able to quite answer the questions I had. When I said I would rather not and continue on my own, suddenly my roster was full of hackers and my site was one of the worst on the net in his opinion. Funny how great it was when he just wanted to get the roster out of it, which brings me to my concern with him. The thing I think some may miss is as a owner/staff member of a VA you have an ethical obligation to maintain your members personal information private, this includes email address's among other things. Has he provided you with any security that he will not use your roster for purposes other than building his roster? Have you gotten the permission of your member/pilots to transfer this information? Did you tell them during your registration process that their information would never be used outside of the va they are signing up for, I know I do. Search flightsimworld forums for his name with the tag "email", you will see what he has done with mailing lists in the past. If he is capable of that , he is capable of anything. I personally would not want to be the one responsible for releasing that information. As far as his feeling about phpVMS, who cares, that opinion is coming from a guy that spent a pile of money for a developer and got what seems to be a very basic site that has about a tenth of the capabilities of just a base install of phpVMS, not to mention going up against a va using phpVMS with a lot of addons and custom scripts. Sounds more like jealousy and envy than anything else. Beyond that, just as my family makes my home, not the bricks and sticks, the members of a va make the va, the operating system is just the "house". Unfortunatly for this man, his house has no family in it. I for one am greatful for the work that has been done here with phpVMS, and no one will sway my beliefs about it, Nabeel, and open source projects, especially an idiot like this guy. [END RANT]
  15. I use instant teamspeak and have had no trouble, they are reasonable as well. The thing I liked most was you could up or downgrade the plan at any time and they will pro-rate the month for you, you don't get stuck with it. link - http://www.instantteamspeak.com/
  16. I do not know what airline you are wanting to mirror but some do have xml feeds of their flight schedules which could probably be used as well.
  17. Please post any input for the new EVENTBooking module here. Thread continued from Paid Services
  18. Input + Support from the community equals the price in my sig Started a new thread in AddOns for input.
  19. Ok, I think I am following now, one question more though. Will you be creating a schedule for the event, or will it be some kind of one off charter? I think it will be easier to create a schedule for the event, even if you deactivate it after the event. That will give me something to tie the event to and be able to produce information and charts easily.
  20. So more of a listing than a calendar. Can you send me a basic structure of what you are thinking about for needed fields. ie Name of event Description of event Time of event Requirements..? Coordinator..? Flight Path..? Aircraft..? Teamspeak channel..? Not sure what all needs to be included.. Also, I would be guessing that it would only allow signups from registered pilots, but the public would be able to see the event and bookings...
  21. Nope, I never asked for a quote from them. They may be willing to let you have it for nothing in exchange for advertising, I would make it clear to them that it is for a non-profit organization and see what they say. If you get access to the data feed, let me know.
  22. I looked at this a while back and have a sample dataset from them. The basic dataset is really easy to work with but is a pay service. Their free service only allows you to frame their application on your site and includes ads and such, there is no access to the raw data in that version. If someone wants to pay the monthly fees for the service the coding part is actually pretty light.
  23. Do you just mean a calendar you can schedule event dates/times (appointments) on and then let pilots sign up (RSVP) for a time slot. Do you need limits to number of pilots? Will pilots be able to sign up for a certain time, or will they be automatically assigned the next available slot for the event? Do you want an image option for the event?
