Ok so I give up on the config files. I altered the pilot data class. I need to go one size smaller now. No biggie. Now the million $$ question, how do I move the flag over to the right more so it does not cover up the text?

I actually have set mine larger than 10 before as well. The funny part is, it is like size maybe 6 in the phpVMS website as well as in the phpBB3 forum as well. I was leaning towards css conflict on the website it self, but beings how it is the same size on the badges when viewing in phpBB3 .... Well, that lends a whole new thought. Not sure what the deal is. **EDIT** I have added my UAL sig here so you can see. It shows the same small font on here as well as on our site at the VA. In the app config as well as the local_config it is set to font size 10. That is not a 10. And notice how the US flag is overlapping the text? I have done everything I can in the config files and it will simply not fix it. Tried: edit config files Reset sigs after edit config files cleared cache cleared everything else to no avail

Been there done all that. Reset sigs and all. I been using phpVMS for years now and this is the first time I ever had this issue. If I edit my config file, I can change font type, color, offset, show copyright or not, etc etc the only thing that will not change is the font size. I even did away with the css on a test site and still a no go. I thought I had a conflict with css or something but it can't be. It is controlled with the config files.

It is the stats that appear on the badge itself. I have tried in vain to change the font size in the local config as well as app config and it is a no go. The badge image it self is just fine.

Hello everyone I am attempting to change the font size on the pilot badge and no matter what I do in the local config file, the font size4 will not change. The funny part is, I can alter every toher setting with success but no matter what I do, the font size will not change. Anyone else ran in to this and found a fix? I attempted to change font on other phpvms installs the same way and with success each time. I am baffled. Any help is appreciated.

We got hit to. I cleaned everything out. They had a remote sql script installed and we were running a joomla and wordpress site. and a BUNCH of other files.

Thanks for the help. I have some guys trying that out today to see how it goes. And yeah not sure about the email. I know we had this issue once before but it was his fault lol he went to email you and emailed another guy by mistake and sent a bcc to himself. That is kind of why I finally stepped in to try things out

So I have read many times this is a slow server error. While I have never had any issues at all with slowness on this server, I am willing to bite on the slow server bait. How can I fix this issue to make the script just ignore that error and continue on? We are using the Customs Kacars device on our VA. Also, I run another little VA on the side that uses the free version, can I fix that error on that module (script) as well? The person who paid for our script emailed Jeff and got no reply that I know of thus far. It's been a month or so ago. If anyone has a clue, PLEASE fill me in on what to do. also need to remove it from "my bids" section as well. If a pilot has bid on a flight, they can easily file a manual pirep there as well.

thx for helping him with this one parkho. I got busy with life and slipped away for the last couple few weeks.

Any news on this little piece of work getting added or released by you guys? I was gonna try and make my way through the code as suggested a couple posts up but decided not to in anticipation of release. That is truly a nice add on for AirMail.

Ill bust out winmerge and see if I can locate the difference.

Thanks for the reply Dave. I do have my site modified quite heavily, but the database is pretty much stock out of the box including any mods I may have added. I currently have a install on wamp server. I'll take a stab at it there and see what happens. Worst thing could be I scrap it and start from scratch Its a fresh virgin install as is.

Yeah I do not have that version of phpVMS. IS that the new one Nabeel released with security fixes a while back? If so, I do not have it and never used it. If I can dig up any info Ill share it.

Any luck on linking to previous and up coming months? That would be a great addition to this nice calendar.

it should be localhost (host name) if the datbase and website are in the same domain.

It may be the version of phpVMS too. Parhko can verify that or not. The one I just tried it on was not a standard phpVMS, it was a phpVMS Extended by Simpilot.

Yeah that is one of the biggest gripes about websites. I visited a VA the other day and immediately it started playing music and I left the site within a couple seconds. Now I don;t even recall what VA it was. Grave mistake, but good luck in it. Embedding music is easy to do.

Well, as per the other post, I tried your code and somehow it worked. I have yet to check the database and see the flight type that was recorded. I know in the past it saved it as a passenger flight no matter what type it was. Anyhow, I am just glad I ran across your code and it worked. That problem has been itching me for a while now. actually, I just tried this little ditty of code and it worked. Nice one!

The problem is, when doing a cargo flight and pirep is filed, the database is saving the flight as a passenger flight, not a cargo flight. So all cargo hauled is counting as passengers. I have to manually cahnge all flights in the database that I know were cargo flights to correct it every time. I found a fix for this issue long ago and now I don't recall how to fix it.,

It works correct on one of my sites and not on the other. I have scoured the working site over and over again and can not for the life of me figure out how I solved this problem. I know the answer to it is in this forum, I just can not locate it anymore. I have searched for countless hours now.

Hi Dave I have a very old copy of phpVMS running Version 2.1.v2.1.934-75-g25792f4 is it possible to update that version easily to your extended version? I took and converted Nabeels new version to your extended version and the database took some work to get it to work due to the no pay per flight thing being missing from his newest version. That was on that SRT site I spoke to you about a while back. It runs great now. The version I am running now on my other site, has the pay per flight so it all should match up I am guessing.
