I was wondering if anyone out there could teach me how to paint aircraft. My graphics skills have never been good and I am not real good at images. I do have adobe photoshop 8 and adobe photoshop elements as well as paint shop pro 9. I have tried to do aircraft before but never could figure it out. If anyone wished to teach me that would be awesome. Oh I also have some converter that you have to have to do it as well. I even tried to follow along with the tutorials at gjsmith.net Not sure what I could ever do to return the favor as I am a broke college man with 3 kids to take care of, but I am always good for something. Let me know. If not that's cool too.

You can put it anywhere you want on a tpl file. I chose to put mine on the front page in a box on the left side of the page.

Just a quick note, I have had the check connection problem for the last several beta releases. It will not check before you do your initial install. Well, I shouldn't say yours, I mean mine actually. I never even thought about reporting it to be honest.

That is correct. There is a setting in the config file that you can edit as in change the % of the aircraft that is loaded on departure. Like nightfox said, when you file it, it will fill that in for you. In the case of FS Passengers, ACARS, or FSFK you can put any number you want and it will be ok because it will get over ridden when the report gets filed. Reason being is simple. AS Nabeel said, no aircraft is ever 100% full ev ery flight. I think he took and found the average percentage of aircraft useage and used that figure. Like I said, you can edit that percentage if you like.

I have not had time to mess with it yet. I am really hoping I can do something in the next couple of days. School term is winding down for me real fast and I am cramming in my website project for school as well as preparing for finals. I will gladly post any file edits that I can make work as soon as I can.

I have been looking into this as well and got swamped with school work. AS soon as I can I will look into doing as Nabeel said. It should be quite easy to do since it is only copy and pasting code. I just have not had a chance to do it yet either. I am not looking to make any flights in active, I just do not want them to show up to pilots who can not fly that aircraft that is on the ground. I hate to have a pilot purchase a jump seat to an airport and fly the flight only to find out the aircraft they flew was unavailable for their rank.

Well, to be honest, I have had it that far before. That is not the problem at all. I need to get more blocks down the right and left sides. And PLEASE destroy them files as soon as you can. I really hate for that to be used for a phpvms site..... Yet That site is my school project. It still has 3 weeks worth of work to be done to it for it to be final. The blue image used in the nav up top was borrowed with permission from forumimages.co.uk from a friend of mine. Once I get that one done and working, I will port it all over to phpVMS for my personal use only. Then I will learn how to template for phpvms and spin them out for everyone to use. I am back at it and trying to figure this div stuff out once again. If anyone can point me in the right direction to using div tags that would be great. I always did and still can do some awesome tables, but as we all know, there is much better and cleaner ways to do things now. Since I am stuck back in the old school, this new school stuff is killing me. I have created a little website for school. I used this template I created once as a starter template for my VA but scrapped it real quick when I found out I don't know Sh*t about div. My issue is now, I can get my left , main, and right content for a 3 colum layout just fine. When I go to put in other content on the right or the left, instead of going under the content, it gets parked right next to it. If I can pull off this little site for school, I will once again start in on it and try to make it work as my own phpVMS template... Please one of you skin savvy guys point me to some good detailed tutorials. I am pulling my hair out and the bad part is, I was loosing it to begin with. lol I can't afford to pull much more of it out! http://rbdesigns.thunderva.com

No you do not upload the zip file. Unzip the zip file to your computer. Then double click on the folder that you just unzipped. It will contain all of the flies and folder necessary to run phpVMS. Upload all of the folders to your web server inside of the public_html folder on your server. Then you need to set some file permissions. They need to be set to writeable. Then visit your site and the installation page should come up for you. After that simply follow the on screen instructions.

Yeah hops lists work out great and I have used them on my fshost in the past. But what if you are a small VA that does noit use fshost? Like my VA for example. We have a whole whopping 6 pilots. So there is no need for us to have our own fshost. We all fly online at Westcoast ATC so we have no access to their FSHost. So a module like was asked for here, could easily keep track of pilots progress much like fshost does, except it could all be setup admin side to keep track as pireps are filed I suppose.

Hi Nabeel. I went over there and tried to register like 5 times, but man that captcha sux real bad. So if anyone else reading this can logon over there to make a request, please do. I really think the topic that is being discusses for in this request would be great to have as an option.

I agree it needs to be posted here so all can benefit from it. That is why I changed my signature like so many others have recently. As well, the search feature works out real well here. A quick search will reveal the correct file to edit. It is core/templates/schedule_results.tpl That file tells yiou exactly what to do if you wnat different things to happen in your schedule results. Somewhere in there you have to uncomment some code. Now please note I have never done this so I do not know what the immediate results will be. So I can not offer up any support on this what so ever. All I can do is point you to the file.

Yeah that is the great thing about opening up a VA. It is yours to do as you wish with. I think fun can be had all but immediately with the ease of use with Nabeel's little script he has created for us all to use. I only got 6 whole pilots so far but it is fun working on the website and flying with the few that I got. We do all kinds of good stuff. ANd yeah we may carry titles like CEO COO etc etc, but when it all comes down to it, we are only just sim pilots having some fun....Hopefully. No pun intended Simpilot. Fun is the name of the game. So what did you end up naming your airline? DO you have a site up and running yet for us all to check out?

Uhhhhh Not sure I understand but here goes. AS for the number 2 question, I do not know. As for the number 1 question, simply do as I suggested. Find that TPL file and remove the // from around the code and it will work as you want it to. As for the flight showing up on the correct days of the week, that comes default on phpVMS and works as you want it to already. There is nothing more to do to it. Make sure when you create your schedules, you choose the correct days of the week you wish for the flight to be available and you should be good to go.

I actually just put a full install site yesterday again. I have not upgraded to the beta on it yet. As soon as I do I will give it a try and see how she works. I thought you pointed out that you fixed the comment thing. This post was in regards to a PM I got on adjusting pilot pay. I figured I would post it public so everyone who may have the issue can try this fix.

Oh Ok Nabeel No probs. When I added that in the requested features for the 2nd time it was pretty much as a mere bump is all. I can do that though. I was thinking it was something maybe we could look into in the future. It would be pretty sweet. I'll go add it in a sec.

If anyone has tried this and it would not update pilot pay, you are on a older beta version. Nabeel has been made aware of a bug in the system and was or did fix it in the newest Beta. It is confirmed. It does the very same thing on a virgin install of phpVMS.

I replaced said code with code from pastebin and still get tow tables after sending a NOTAM. I looked at my database and it is only being written once. And I went and checked my inbox after sending NOTAMS and I only got 1 copy of the NOTAM. I will go ahead and do a virgin phpVMS install and put airmail on it and test it on that and see if I still get this error or if it is only on custom skins.
