DELETETHISACCOUNT
Why does my airport search don't work? It always says it's looking up and nothing happens.
Administrators ProAvia Posted September 12, 2018 Administrators Report Share Posted September 12, 2018 The airport look up server is unavailable at this time. You can look up the lat/long at sites like Skyvector and enter them manually.
DELETETHISACCOUNT
When will the server will be back?
Administrators ProAvia Posted September 12, 2018 Administrators Report Share Posted September 12, 2018 (edited) VACentral - where the look up data was located - has been down for quite some time. No telling when it will be back. My guess is it won't be available until sometime after phpVMS 7 is released. As I mentioned, Skyvector or maybe one of the other aviation sites is the easiest place to look up lat/long for now. The geonames.org server is still available, but now you have to pay to access the data there. Edited September 12, 2018 by ProAvia

Heritage1
I have just uploaded a lat/long little map system that I run Strictly off my Desktop with my default browser, I have been using this a long time for odd ball Airports as we run a LOT of seaplane bases, this map is a Must for me for obvious reasons, Run this off your Desktop only, however if you have An API key from Google, then you can pretty much embed it with some script work on your Web Site. Below is the link to download it, enjoy. http://www.mediafire.com/file/q4heemsq4vxnf5z/gOOgLeiT.html/file
