Alaska Virtual undergoes a new look. http://alaskaairva.net This is of my own creation. The template is the Obsess Blue skin but I did all the editing.

No, the main menu bar looks a bit strange when i hover over it. I would suggest changing the background image..

Menu bar looks fine but the background is hideous. Get a bigger image, say Alaskan mountains or something or even just a snowy-blue colour.

I think well it doesn't look very friendly or inviting

Also a tip perhaps, get a nice image and paste this into the CSS:

background-attachment: fixed;
background-image:url(img/body_bg.png);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position:absolute;

That should glue the background in place and only the middle bit will move!

"absolute" is an invalid value for background-position, so you can omit that line

Can't you do something like this..

background:url(img/body_bg.png) fixed no-repeat;

Saves a couple of lines

Yeah I did that one just for laughs. I changed to some snow capped mountains. but your right it was a little scarry.

Is there a way to use a code that locks the backgroung image and the web template moves the template that sits on top of the image.

from the looks of it WHICH THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH but it seems like you guys are helping him REDESIGN his whole website!!

By posting in this forum it usually means they want feedback on their website. Otherwise why post here? I mean were all VA owners so we usually don't join other virtual airlines. I think it would look a lot better with out that fuzzy mountain. That background is just plain disgusting for this website, way too blurry and would probably keep pilots away from your website.
