Hi, I have a small request. Let's say A is my HUB and B is one of many destinations. Pilot0001 places a bid for the A-B flight. He finishes the flight, after that he books the flight A-C. Is there a way to block bookings until the returs flight is finished?

G'day everyone, I am skinning a new website using phpVMS. Everything is working except when I put in the code to try and make the Recent PIREPs and New pilots appear only on the home page I get a bunch of errors. Can someone simply tell me the code I have to put in? Hello, i have problems with awards... I see in pilot_public_profile.tpl the award and everyting right but when i put the mouse cursor over the award, the image doesnt say the description of the award just like it suposse to do in <img src="<?php echo $award->image?>" alt="<?php echo $award->descrip?>" /> in admin panel i have written a despcripcion of the award and everything is right i think does anyone has the same problem? thanks all

Greetings!!! I am a start up VA and as such to tell you the truth I am a little overwhelmed when it comes to software application. Also I am a high school free enterprise teacher and I think that eventually I could use my VA as great learning hands on lad. That said I am at the point where I have almost figured out my route system. I am just transfering from my old host to my one, but I have setup a phpVMS database and changed all the details in the local.config.php file. However on the homepage it says: In the "ezDB_MySQL.class.php" (line 108) it is: $this->dbh = mysql_connect($dbhost, $dbuser, $dbpassword, true); I the only thing I have noticed is "dbh" but doubt it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Everybody, I recently changed hosts and done the following, Installed a fresh copy of phpVMS, Updated the SQL file, everything seemded to work ok. However over the past 2-3 days its come to my attention that Pilots cannot change there profile images, i dont know if this is something to do with the CMS or the database, i think the database? Any ideas/replys will all be helpfull, also apart from that one pilots callsign changed from PLS022 to PLS021, strange huh? Thanks, Thomas.

As many of you know I am nearing the completion of the raw data needed to plug into this site and thus give birth to Pontchartrain Virtual Airlines. If my calculations are correct I am about a month away from completing this task and then down loading the operating program. All of which brings me to the purpose of today’s post. Without mincing words I have no idea how to create and paint the aircraft needed to run the VA. In my minds eye I know exactly what I want the aircraft to look like, but I haven’t a clue on how to make that vision come alive. Hi Guys, Time after time I have had to reinstall the whole thing from scratch because I keep getting conflicts when updating to the latest beta version. This means manually entering all my VA's operational data e.g. Schedules, Airports, Aircraft etc. etc . Starting to get tired of doing it to tell the truth. As nearly every update houses changes to the DB, I cant seem to export the database to import it due to SQL errors re: addition tables in the last update. Is there any easy way of keeping all my data ? I noticed that REV782 has the Schedules export option which is a great idea, any chance in making an export function for all ops data ? e.g. Aircraft, Airlines,…

Hello, I think I followed the instructions correctly and installed the latest release and then upgraded to the beta. When I go to install/update.php I get the below error. Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '{' in C:xampphtdocsadminmodulesOperationsOperations.php on line 98 The full released worked fine before I tried the upgrade. Thanks, Keith

We've been running the phpVMS system for a while now, and were originally able to get the live map to show grey squares only, along with the flight info listed below. We attempted to fix it with no success, so moved to the latest beta. Now, the map shows up, but no flights appear either on the map or in the list below. Is there a step-by-step set-up guide for FSACARS or XACARS because no matter what we try, we get no results. Many Thanks, Andy Russell One World Virtual

When I click on Pirep Feilds under Pilot Reports, I get: Fatal error: Call to undefined method Settings::renderTemplate() in /home/vdefense/public_html/ultrair-virtual.org/admin/modules/Settings/Settings.php on line 272 and also for anyone using a skin or template that was made for the older system, update your custom core_navigation.tpl otherwise this newer re-write of the code with mess things up.

Hey, I was curious, I have the landing stats addon on my site and there is an edit that has to be done in the admin files. Each time there is an update to phpVMS this is over written. I know I can copy files to my skin folder and they work great. What about admin files? Such as pireps_list.tpl If it can be copied to my skin folder, do I need to make an admin folder in my skin folder and place it there or just in the skin folder with the rest of the files?

For some random reason, ALL of the schedules pages on the website are out of line, however, this is the weird thing, ITs ONLY out of line in Internet Explorer, i myself use Firefox and its perfect but other members (the IE users...) see it as out of line. http://members.pulseair.co.uk/index.php/schedules/details/101 Regards, Thomas. I can't wait until v2 comes out. It has all the features that my VA needs. ;D Anyways, I started to code our site in the beta but because of random bugs I'm not getting very far. If I were to load up the release version and add routes, pilots, skins, etc. will there be compatibility issues upgrading to v2 when it is released? I would hate to do a lot of work just to have to do it again when v2 comes out. Thanks for your help! Keith

Hello, I am having issues with the Live Map now as underneath it says: The map and table automatically update. Red indicates pilot is on the ground. Green indicates in air. Click pilot name to view. No matter if the plane is in the air or on the ground it shows up blue. Is this just a simple coding error where it can be fixed by me. Or is an issue with ACARS? Thanks Sam

not sure was it mentioned here, but have found not major error in admins template core_navigation.tpl all code lines for images has same error - <?echo instead of <?php echo That is in full distribution only, revision 700. AFAIK that was last "stable" release.

I was just flying with a friend. Both with FSAcars. He sent his pirep and i did. My one was recognized by the website, his didnt. I told him to file pirep manually and so he did but nothing came into admin panel to accept. Later i watched my emails and found out that his pireps were sent via email to me. Why that?

FSACARS outputs 00:00 hr:min format. But Manual PIREP asks "Enter as hours - "5.3" is five hours and thirty minutes". Does VMS figure this out as i think im seeing problems in over all career time totals. Please advise so i can do more research or not
