think it have not been asked before? if yes please give me a hint where I have added something like this to simpilots charter module to get prices for the charter flights which works quite well $charter[price] = ($distance/100)*20; is it possible to remove the manual price input and do it in background following maths operations like above? I want to change the name of my database from canforce_phpvmsinstall to just canforce_phpvms. I know how to do this in mySQL, but where do I change it in phpVMS. I don't wanna change it until I know for sure that my site wont be down for awhile.

How do I add a banned option like active and inactive? So when a user is banned they will be greeted with a message saying there banned and make it so they cant use the site? Thanks

I am using the stable version, what ever that is. I added a custom filed, a text area for bio. For some reason the only way to edit or enter data into that field is from the admin panel and that doesn't always stick. Any ideas as to why?

Hey, I'm trying to make an query to get all of the passenger loads columns from the PIREP tables. Here's the SQL Query i ran in our database manager SELECT SUM(load) AS passengers FROM pireps And I got the Query error... #1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'load) AS passengers FROM pireps' at line 1 Does anyone know why? I tried to sum the fuelused column and it worked, same query, but what the heck, why not to the loads column? Hopefully someone can shine in!

It's good to see VA Central back up and running. I couldn't find a VA Central heading to post this question. I noticed my logo image is missing on one of my accounts, tried to re-upload but its not excepting the images or any other images I try and upload. Also I deleted an old account, but it still shows up on the airline list. Is this something that changes when the stats update?

So, Everything was going fine then i suddenly got this error message when i was going to add routes, i am hosted on FiveDev, and it says there is a database problem of some sort. he only thing that i have done to the database's is import the big airports database from Simpilot. I use phpvms as it suits my needs, and works as far as tracking hours etc But, I run a Military VA, not a civilian one. So, there are occasions, when I need to have mutliple users flying the SAME route at the same time. So, is there a simple way, I can stop the system from locking out a route, after bidding? I currently have to add multiple flights to allow more than one pilot to fly together, so just wondered if it was easy to amend the code, so it does not stop others bidding, after a bid?

If I wanted to restrict the fleet to a certain number of pilots? For example, I would like to create a private flying club internal my VA, using airplanes that are not in the fleet (eg Cesna ETC .....) wanting to do a tour like dangerous from IVAO. How could limit its use as it does with the rating in the ranks. One could, for example, use an award and those who do not have the award can not use these planes and use its schedule. Do you think this is possible? I hope I explained myself..Sorry for my bad English ....

I want to make a foreach loop with the schedule route and the nav data, so basically display the data for each waypoint in the route. I noticed there is a function called parseRoute($schedule), which I tried to implement by nothing happened. Any ideas???

Hello there, I was looking to change the ICAO code of Departure and Arrival points on the Schedule Results to city names. How can I do that? I had a look at the database directly but I don't see any fields that could have city names inside them. Since I'm at that, I'll ask one further question if you wouldn't mind. Is there a way to present image instead of a day flown? I.e I want to make 7 additional columns (done that), each column standing for each day. The header would have Mon, Tue, Wed etc, and the image would display in the row, where appropriate.

Hello all!! It's been a while since I've been on here but it's great to be back!! I was trying to using an HTML template I found on the internet as a skin but when I paste the HTML in the layout.tpl and placed in all the code from the documentation section I get all the writing etc... but I think the style sheet isn't being imported or read for some reason! All the other skins done by other people work, so I am not too sure why this is happening... Hello everybody, I'm having some problems with all kACARS, now I don't know if there's something wrong with my computer, or if it's my website but when I try to log log a flight it gives me this error http://imgur.(VA)com/o2GoU (remove the VA) any help on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated PS. Hello, my VA is completely charter flights (military VA), what I have is a booking system that updates the schedules where the flightnum is the pid. Instead of manually adding these routes in for every pilot that registers, I want to have it add a row in the schedules during registration that sets the flightnum to the pid and leaves everything else blank. I know the code to add a row, I just don't know where I should put it and in which file. I took a crack at it before March break and it didn't seem to work. Any ideas?

So, two questions. FIrst, can I change the email where contact messages are sent? And second, since I'm a novice with coding, coudl someone write something up where there's a dropdown menu in the contact us form where you can select who the message is sent to? FOr example, if you select Denver Hub Manager it goes to the DEN hub manager, and if you select CEO it goes to the CEO.

I usually do website checks few times a week, and now I noticed our PIREP tables has gotten really ridiculously large. 5.5MB with only 52 PIREPs filed! Now the thing that worries me, as the PIREP database gets larger, will it affect the loading of PIREP lists, slower queries and other things? How do you handle with large amount of PIREP Data? And by the way, we are on shared hosting, if that will affects our VA as well.
