I've installed the phpvms and since tried the notam on the pilot briefing screen. Before it was <a href="https://pilotweb.nas.faa.gov/geo/icaoRadius.html?icao_id=<?php echo $schedule->arricao?>&radius=2" target="_blank">Click to view NOTAMS</a></td> But this dosen't work anymore from the site.Could one of you give us a idea on how to get it to work again if you have a few min. cheers sat

Just a question for you php wizards. I am trying to find a way to not show all the available flight schedules upon first clicking View Schedules. It's the page that you see when you choose either "By Departure Airport", "By Arrival Airport", "By Aircraft Type" or "By Distance". I just want the Search area to show and not the flights under it until the member actually submits his/her flight search. Is there a way around this? If not, I'll just have to just have it show the Random Flight Search instead (thanks to Lorathon for this one).

hello, how is the correct way to view the images in my airline awards, because I have added several images in my awards but only you can see letters, but the images do not appear. Hey, I want to know how to retrieve monthly data for a statistics report that I make at the end of each month. Last month was the first full month of operations for freshJet so this is my first report. I basically need: No. of Flights flown (PIREPS) No. of Hours Flown No. of New Pilots There is more but I can do that myself. I'd be grateful to anyone who could give me some answers.

Hi, Me again with another problem (as you know it most prolly be me not the scrips ). Anyway, when I fly a cargo flight (I double checked and it appears as "Cargo Flight" in schedules) and at the end when I send the pirep in my database it is always registered as "P". After each flight I have to go into my database and set it manually to "C", for cargo operations. For charter I don't mind this but same thing happens also with "H" type. some info; ACARS : kACARS Flight code : MER (for pax, cargo and charter) Cheers, Arslan

Can I list my Newest Pilots by date instead of their number? My current pilot list jumps around quite a bit and instead of listing the newest pilots it is listing the last two pilot ID's.

I've given our HR guy permission to edit pilots but he still can't delete pilots and I've realized you have to give full admin for this. Is there anyway around this without giving him full permissions? Thanks!

Hello folks, I'm curious if there is anyone able to help me out with a few issues I am having when a pilot registers? When a new pilot registers on my site it automatically assigns their new ID, however in the application I have a custom field allowing each pilot to chose a custom ID. Once I have accepted their app they appear under the recent pilots section but when I modify their callsign according to their requested ID they disappear. I have done a bit of research and have found out that the SQL database is showing these new pilots in an automatic order (ascending) possibly through the pilotid only. When pilot's make flight hours they earn money, but what can they do with it?? I came up with an idea so that they can buy tickets with the money they have and then they'll recieve the flight hours for that ticket! So let's say I have $3000,- and 50 flight hours, I buy a ticket for a flight of London-NYC then afterwerts I've lost like $700,- (the route price) and then I have earned 7 flight hours (duration of the flight). I am a dummy in php maybe anyone can help?

I just installed a copy of phpVMS for someone on an addon domain they have literally just created in their cpanel, with a fresh copy of phpVMS downloaded from the site. This past weekend, I had a very rude awakening over deleting pilots and VA Central. I'm aware, when you delete a member his stats are lost and if he rejoins he has to start from scratch. What I wasn't aware of is his contribution to the VA is deleted from the data base. If I had kept all the inactive members we would have 123 man roster. We have found out the system doesn't delete anyone, Ours is preset from the beginning at 90 days but it has never dropped a single inactive member so we have to do this manually. This past Friday we were less than 100 hours to role over 10,000 hours and our second award. Sunday evening I went through the roster and removed 15 inactive mem…

Hi. I was creating a news post for my VA and noticed that title is truncated when saved. Looks like it is limited to 30 characters. The thing is that the title field on /admin/index.php/sitecms/editnews?id=xx is not limited to 30 characters. Another improvement I'd suggest to this page is the ability to unpublish an entry (checkbox) without having to delete it. Thank you!

Hi All, Am I the only one or do other CEOs get the same problem. Do you find that some people join your VA for the sake of downloading what they can and have no intention of flying? Is there a way to restrict download section access to pilots unless they have completed a set number of hours say...10hrs. Then this can be lifted so they can gain access to scenery, aircraft ect. Just an idea would be set the initial account to student (without download access) Once 10 hours have been flown, the account is progressed to download section access.

G'day All, One area that my VA lacks realism is the fact that we cannot do multi leg flights like our real world counterpart. for example, Qantas 9 QFA9 has a stop over in Singapore WSSS, from Sydney YSSY, before continuing on to Heathrow EGLL, under the same callsign of Qantas 9 QFA9, is it possible to change a setting, or some coding to allow schedules to be added that have the same callsign ?
