Hey, I am rebuilding my VA, and want to use phpVMS. Technically, I'm not new to it, but I've never set it up. I now about phpVMS' great support so I can now put it to the test. I am struggling with the installation and I have read the Docs, etc over and over and still don't get it. I've never worked with PHP before either. What do I upload to my web directory and which directory? After I've uploaded, do I just run 'www.mywebsite.com/phpvms/install/install.php'?I have created the database part with my cPanel MySQL Wizard and called it phpvms. I would greatly appreciate any help I can get...

Hello everyone, I create two websites, using phpvms. First one is everything is okey. but i create second websites, didn't work anything. F.e.: I add schedules in admin panel. I add to bid. I don't see in view my bid section. And the other problem is ACARS, I using Kacars, Xacars, i send log, Always says: Data Base errors. I trying 3 times re-install, everything delete after install, but didn't work. I change hosting company but didn't work. Sorry for my bad english. Thank you for answering. Have a nice days Regards.

Hi there, just experienced a type of hacking, i came on my cpanel and noticed 25 pending apps all with silly names, how do i stop this? is there anyway to get a script that will not add any pending pilots to the roster and so they dont use up IDS? now the next real pilot that signs up will have an ID starting at 64 ish sorry for brief messages, trying to sort this

For on of my pages that are separate from phpVMS I want to use data from phpVMS and put it into a table. I am building a website at the moment for my virtual airline. It will be all done in PHP but I need to be pointed in the right direction. 1. What is the best 'framework' to build my site on (e.g Codon, CakePHP etc.) 2. Can I pull data from multiple phpVMS databases and display them on a single page? 3. Can I insert data into multiple phpVMS databases? You may say, why not just use phpVMS? Is it possible for VMS airlines to join together? As per real world Eastern fly's routes for South West, BMI Regional to name a couple. I wondered if it was possible to "merge" or link VMS VA's so the pilots could share your joint airlines routes, or something i cant think how it could be done so im throwing it out to you guys for discussion. Hi, I was wondering if there are any plans to develop an authentication bridge for Joomla. It would be extremely useful if this is developed. There are a number of such bridges already available (e.g. for phpBB, gallery2 etc.), so the technology is demonstrated. This would also make life of VA managers quite easier. Thanks Tanveer Yasser

Hi there, I want to know if there´s any way to wipe the flight data from the LIVE MAP window, for example, after the flight is done (I plan to trigger an event from client to server side, at the PHP module, to make it clean the flight data). I am using XAcars to track my flight but there is nothing on the live acars map. I have checked the database phpvms is using and have found that there is nothing in phpvms_acarsdata. As well I am using the configuration file generated by phpvms in the pilot area. Any ideas what is wrong? EDIT: Ok I watched the video in documentation section and now realize that when I hit start Acars nothing changes in the acars message box but the client claims to be tracking the flight already when I click on start acars again. I am very confused :x UPDATE: Ok managed to get XAcars working (don't know how but its working now lol) but still nothing on the live acars map on my website.

Hi guys, come here asking for help because I am having a serious problem with my VA, it was all normal, but suddenly stopped working, I reinstalled the programs Acars but is not working, I click the FSAcars Flight From VA plan flight no longer carries the KAcars when I'm flying spends some 20 minutes it does not store more information of the flight, what do I do?

I cant get it to install properly, ive installed VMS A LOT of times lol but all of a sudden im getting this error at the end of all the tables being inserted. Fatal error: Class 'SettingsData' not found in /home/mcehosti/public_html/starflyer/install/install.php on line 75 Ive tried making DB with the CPanel Wizard and manually 1st sign of trouble is your install script wont test the DB connection. Please help.

hello. currently in my virtual airline after a flight arrives at its destination, the plane with destination information that is kept on the map for more than 15 hours, and many are confused because they come to collect several aircraft on the map. I want is to change, when a flight plan reaches its destination, the information on that flight on the map only lasted two hours maximum. if this option can be changed please tell me how, and how to do it please thanks for your attention and help Have a good day ....
