hello. I'm having trouble with the flight schedules & routes, now I have created 35 flight plans but only 25 flight plans are published, all flight plans are created equal that others, osseous happening. please if anyone can help me solve this problem. grateful for their help.

I don't know if I should post this in the Skinning forums or support, so please move this thread if it isn't right! How can I change the size of the flash graph that shows the PIREPs. Hi there, tried to change the colour of my signature text in local.config.php to #FFFFFF or #000000 and then reset signatures in the admin area, but it doesnt seem to have any affect? any idea? Connor

Hi I have just upgraded from quite an old version (can't even remember what version it was but it was installed back in July 2009) Because it is such a long time ago and I forgot the original password, I tried password recovery and now the username/password combination I use (from the email) gives the following error when it tries to open the profile page. "You must be logged in to access this page" I am tempted to do a complete new installation but the config and skin is already done so I want to keep the current one if possible. Any ideas?

So here is what i did. I went to try and add flight bid everytime i get a failure. and says "No Route Passed" so i did some research and went through multipla options... Hmmm. still to no avail so i decided to run error console and in phpvms.js i am getting "success: function() {" is faulty . so naturally i did more googling and came up with thats a call for an API... Nabeel or any other have words of wisdom? fix? anything? I am up past midnight on an issue that started at 4pm.. please help. my website is www.flyvirginairways.com and if u need a login to support my problem then PM otherwise. help would be nice.

Hello, gentlemen! This is my first post in this forum. I'm am the CEO of Brisa VA, from Brazil (www.brisalinhasaereas.com, several language versions ). We're setting phpVMS up, after two years using VAFS. We are very happy with what we already got from phpVMS, although there are a lot of things to do yet. But there is a bug stealing a lot of time our staff. All the pilots who try to register in our site recieve the same error message: "This e-mail is already in use!" I'm sorry if there is already a topic about it. If so, please let me know the link so I can check the answers. Best regards to everybody!

Hey, I am rebuilding my VA, and want to use phpVMS. Technically, I'm not new to it, but I've never set it up. I now about phpVMS' great support so I can now put it to the test. I am struggling with the installation and I have read the Docs, etc over and over and still don't get it. I've never worked with PHP before either. What do I upload to my web directory and which directory? After I've uploaded, do I just run 'www.mywebsite.com/phpvms/install/install.php'?I have created the database part with my cPanel MySQL Wizard and called it phpvms. I would greatly appreciate any help I can get...

Hi there, just experienced a type of hacking, i came on my cpanel and noticed 25 pending apps all with silly names, how do i stop this? is there anyway to get a script that will not add any pending pilots to the roster and so they dont use up IDS? now the next real pilot that signs up will have an ID starting at 64 ish sorry for brief messages, trying to sort this

I am building a website at the moment for my virtual airline. It will be all done in PHP but I need to be pointed in the right direction. 1. What is the best 'framework' to build my site on (e.g Codon, CakePHP etc.) 2. Can I pull data from multiple phpVMS databases and display them on a single page? 3. For on of my pages that are separate from phpVMS I want to use data from phpVMS and put it into a table. Is it possible for VMS airlines to join together? As per real world Eastern fly's routes for South West, BMI Regional to name a couple. I wondered if it was possible to "merge" or link VMS VA's so the pilots could share your joint airlines routes, or something i cant think how it could be done so im throwing it out to you guys for discussion. Hi, I was wondering if there are any plans to develop an authentication bridge for Joomla. It would be extremely useful if this is developed. There are a number of such bridges already available (e.g. for phpBB, gallery2 etc.), so the technology is demonstrated. This would also make life of VA managers quite easier. Thanks Tanveer Yasser

I am using XAcars to track my flight but there is nothing on the live acars map. I have checked the database phpvms is using and have found that there is nothing in phpvms_acarsdata. As well I am using the configuration file generated by phpvms in the pilot area. Any ideas what is wrong? EDIT: Ok I watched the video in documentation section and now realize that when I hit start Acars nothing changes in the acars message box but the client claims to be tracking the flight already when I click on start acars again. I am very confused :x UPDATE: Ok managed to get XAcars working (don't know how but its working now lol) but still nothing on the live acars map on my website.

So what I am looking to do is add the ability to search the schedules by division. Our VA uses divisions to distinguish flights in the schedule as follows: CCC-NOC001 CCC-EOC001 etc. Where the NOC and EOC are divisions. We currently have 9 divisions and the complaint I'm getting is that with all the schedules its hard find a flight they are looking for. So I want to create a division filter based on the flightnum field which in itself is easy enough to do, but I would wind up with a drop-down list of ever flight in the database.
