I have an idea for a new feature ;-) If we log all the costs of flying with phpvms, what is with the maintance of the birds? My little suggestion: Maintance for smaller AC: all 50hours The bigger ones and heavy: all 100hours You can open maintance points (airports)as the hubs in the control center. When time is coming for a check >45/90hours, as admin you have a possibility to see in a AC list the flown hours of the aircrafts, for createing routes to airports with maintance options. When the "eagle has landed" at this point, a procedure automatically happens and the fixcosts are charged. New party for the next 50/100 hours. If not, the system grounds the aircraf…

Hello The phpVMS is fantastic and deserves our support: Advertising etc etc. With it, we can do a lot of innovation in VAs But there is a limitation that I believe is easy to remove. The financial part is not completely separated at the VA. With this separation (including the salaries of pilots and added expense), could do much of anything new.

Hey all, I have just recovered from a hard drive crash ( I had the seagate 1TB drive and was unaware it needed a firmware upgrade ), ANYWAYS/... a while ago I read a post on the programs to use so that I could basically see changes on my system before uploading them. It was a server thing. I really want to load that again, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was called. I have searched the forums again but can't seem to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I noticed that the lookup server failed to provide a country code on a few of my airports, but when I went to edit them, I could enter the data, and got the message that the airport had been edited. The only problem is the data I entered isn't there. anyone having a similar problem? I searched "edit airport, but didn't see anything.

English: I'm using the version of Latter phpvms (934) and deploy a skin (compromise), the live map on my page is blank and the following errors in the browser tab. Ok, i have one problem with one of my ferind's virtual airlines. When i go to the timetable and it shows two routes. Then i head to the admin panel, and went to the admin timetable, & it shows alot of flights. The flights in the admin are fully enabled. What is it causing?

We all know that when we add extra pages to our site from the admin panel, it puts that page name in bold at the top left. I want to get rid of that for this one page I am working on. Can it safely be gotten rid of? I think it just puts the feel of the page out of wack. I went to editor on that page in the admin and my extra code shows up but not that. So I figured I might try to cheat the system and go into core/pages and edit the page directly and as well, it shows my code that I added but nothing extra. for an example of what I am saying, please look at http://thunderva.com/index.php/pages/test Notice how it just looks wrong?

I have been trying to add a custom pirep field from the admin side. I can create the field with a text area. The field is called Tracker URL with a blank text area to insert a url. I already have one custom field called "unscheduled flight" which is a simple drop down box with yes,no. Once i have added the second "tracker URL" field all looks fine in the admin side, however when i go to the user side and try to file a pirep. I get ONE custom field which is a mix of my two fields ie a field name of "Unscheduled flight" and a text area. I am on .930 I have tried searching on custom pirep fields but have not found anything similar to this yet? Alex

Hi folks, my web host doesn't allow external databases. But if I knew what connections I need I could maybe get some exceptions(ip addresses or similar) Reason for asking: some features like Live fuel, doesn't work with our server, and also if we are going to use VAcentral we need a external access. Pulling airport data when adding new airports actually works. Sorry for my messy post, looking forward for an answer

i will shortly explain what i developed and what is my problem. first of all, its the dispatch system (check addons board). this dispatch system works like a real one and includes some more tables to the database. this table includes the routes (but only depicao, arricao, id and distance). Once the dispatcher adds a route to a pilot, it will be created in the phpvms_schedules (so normally, there are all flights stored in but we dont store it there, we just keep it there as long as the flight is not yet flown) my "index" is in this case the bidid so lets for example say, we have 2 pilots, both fly the same route (just different equipment, date or what so ever) there will b…

Hi all does anyone else have a problem with fuel calculations? When a flight is logged the fuel is charged at 0 even though in the local.config.php it's 5.10. Is there somewhere else that it should be specified? Cheers EDIT: Scrub this it started working! However something tells me I haven't used £2800 of fuel travelling 40nm! If I had 971 lbs to start and landed with 626 lbs, how does that get seen as "566 fuel used" - is this 566 units? I've set the LiquidUnit setting to "3" for lbs, so shouldn't it say 345 fuel used?

Hi. I have a quick question. I have installed a fresh install of phpVMS and as we all know from my previous post, I have a databse issue trying to restore my old one. I have the site up and running with all of my airports, dloads, fleet and all. Now I wasnt to add my schedules, but now MaxLoad is no longer used. Can anyone tell me what part of this following snippet is the max load? I was thinking I might be able to manually remove the max load from each one or something like that and I could then import the corrected info so I would not have to redo a couple hundred schedules. Is it possible to filter flights through each airline inside of the pilot center flight search i have 5 airlines inside of phpvms and was wondering if there is a way to filter the flights, meaning separate passenger flights from cargo flights and so on. Hi Nabeel I'm getting a problem on 2.1.934 where when I send a mass email, it lists the contacts it has sent to, but no email is received. The contact form works fine. I've put a suspension on the outbound mail queue on the server and it catches the contact form mail, but nothing is caught for the mass email. I can't work out if this is a server setup problem or not. I am assuming not as the contact works. If it is I'll go back in and see if I can find the issue. Cheers Will

Hi, i have just noticed the following error when filing a manual pirep, Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /srv/www/easyjetva.com/public_html/core/common/LandingstatsData.class.php on line 23 I take its because there is no value going into that field, what would be the best option to fix this, im thinking allow null in the database? Or is there something else that would do it.

Hi Nabeel I've run up against a problem with Xacars. When flying with Xacars it is sending flight information to the xacars.txt log file, and there is an entry for "[gs]". However in the log.txt file I'm getting a sql error saying that "gs" cannot be ''. I've confirmed this directly in the database. I've then set the gs field to varchar(11) and the error in the log goes away, however the flight is not shown on the map at all. Any solutions? Thanks Will EDIT: I'm also getting a large amount of SQL errors saying that "fieldname" doesn't have a default value. I've been getting around it by disabling the "NOT NULL" setting for the erroring field.

.930 My pilots are reporting that even though they file the Pirep correctly giving a correct Dept ICAO and Arr ICAo when it arrives at admin for approval the Arrival filed hs been populated with the Departure ICAO. I haven't changed anything in the pirep tpl's. It means that the Fleet table also is not being updated correctly with the last filed pirep position. Any Clues or is this a BUG! Thanks Alex
