This is a stupid question but I would rather be safe then sorry. I am ready to integrate my forum into the database with phpVMS. So I create my forum folder inside phpVMS and its as good as that? .And obviously toss a link in core_nav. I am going to export my current database and insert the info into my phpVMS database. There are not any tables that will clash are there that we know of? I ask because I am going to try the auto registration script that is in the addons as well.

Hello I would like to put on my ftp servor a table which presents the pilot list with only the date of the last flight. This page will be public, so all the people will see it without registering. I tried to do this php page with this code I found in this forum : <?php $report = PIREPData::GetLastReports($pilot->pilotid, 1); echo date('d.M.Y', strtotime($report->submitdate)); ?> But when I use this code, nothing happens. How can I do to do this page with only the pilot list and the date of the last flight ? Thanks Stéphane

G'day all, One of my pilots (the CEO) is having problems with the live map, the map is not displaying. Seems to have started when I first had full control of the VMS and me and a fellow person from the management team applied updates on the VMS. At livemap, i have sometimes the problem that there is a wrong status of flight. Like when i am flying long time it still shows "climbing" and sometimes its correct and it shows cruise but when i go to descend, it also shows "climbing". This happens for all members so its not a problem of my fsacars i think.

Hi again, As written in the fsacars notice, the error message might show up (which did in my case) but PIREP is sent to system... The only issue with that is : Fsacars thinks the flight log is still not sent and so, at next flight it will send again and again the previous flight... Is this because fsacars does not receive a "OK" from the website ? I am willing to help you on that subject to identify the bug... Thanks for the help ! ;D

Hi Nabeel. I wanted to ask you.... I just recently found this website and script as you know and I installed the full install package that is available. I saw the upgrade version and dloaded it as well. Is the upgrade very serious, or should I wait for the next new version? I do have the upgrade package downloaded. I am just worried about destroying all the work I have already done to this install I currently use.

Hey, I'm having problems with the install. I'm new with all this php/MySQL stuff. So far after deleting everything in both the database and the phpVMS program itself and reloading it three different times I keep getting this message: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' 1)' at line 2 I'm running MySQL version 5.0.81-community. I have everything all set now. When I load ACARS, I can never see myself on the map. Other people have no problem. There are a few that cant be seen on the map. Any idea what the problem is. I am on Vista 32 bit.

Hello and my apologies in advance if this has been discussed. I searched and came up blank. I am adding routes and I keep going back to pilot center and viewing schedules. Now I'm just wondering, is it going to cut off adventually and start giving page numbers such as only show 20 schedules per page or something like that? As you can tell if one had hundreds of schedules available for pilots to bid on that day, that page would be a mile long if it did not crash the website first. ;D I'll go do another search and if I find my answer, I will come back and delete this one. Hi Nabeel, Using the latest beta and I am having issues accepting new pilots. As soon as I double click to accept them, it goes to the pilot list. They are still in the list for pending. As well, the map does not seem to be erasing ended flights. I have it set for 30 minutes in the config and they are still there. I even changed it to 1 and hours after they are still there. I have not been able to send my pireps to VA Central either. Something about the API server but I am just assuming that is an issue on your end. Would really like to see the registration fixed chief. I have found some problems with this program and IE8. For example, to add an airport, a screen should appear on top of the normal screen and the rest should go darkened. Instead, it tries to do that, but instead reverts to another page that is white and looks rather primitive. It also does this with ranks and some other things. Even though it reverts to the other screen, the feature seems to work except the adding airports feature. I have Google Chrome though, and have been able to bypass these errors, but, just thought I's let you know that there are some problems with the software in IE8.

OK guys, sorry I've been asking a lot of questions but I still run into a few issues every now and then. First question, Bidding... Pilot selects bid it says added, then pilot goes back to view bid and it says "You have not bid on any flights". Any Ideas? Second: phpvms Admin Panel... Latest News it says No input file specified. where do I specify a file? Thanks for the continued support, Chad C.

right where do i start "ok" when i member as reg with the site and picked there airline, let say they want to change there airline and they ask admin to do this. when i go to there profile and change it and then save changes it say update done. But when i look at there profile it has not change. I think that the way to explan it. What can i do to sort this out and get it working again

Hi all, I have a template and it works great, however I have been having to copy and edit every single .tpl possible to get the DIVs to be inside the design template. it just seems like there should be another way am I missing something. I tried editing something like page content.tpl but that didn't work. Thanks, Chad

It seems at times that we are caught in a vicious circle. One issue fixed, the bids are jacked, other issue fixed, acars is jacked, fix this, 3 other issues are created. I am not trying to be an a**hole, but rather than adding other s***, from here on out why not concentrate on make the current build solid. Why not use this thread to post all current issues and see where things stand. What I am seeing so far: Manual reports aren't working The bid system is not working properly, schedules randomly disappear.

Hi, well first of all, i am very happy about phpVMS. I bought that commercial version vabase first and was so disappointed. Then i found phpVMS and well.. wow.. Now i managed almost everything but the finances. I totally do not understand the system. When i fly, it puts in random values for "This is the price of fuel, $ per kg". Sometimes over 1million $ and so on. Can someone explain it? I found that manual but it wasnt very usefull. Wbr Tebin
