Hi all, I was wondering if it is possible to change the my VA's ICAO code it is currently ANG and I need to change it to NGE. Anyone know how to do this? The only reason I wish to change the code is because I was doing one of our scheduled flights on Vatsim when a controller sent me a message telling me that for my airline my code should be NGE to be the same as the realworld airline. As I was using ANGELAIR01 as my callsign which is not very professional. Any help would be great. Thanks Scott

Currently I have a skin setup that has drop downs. For example when you put your mouse over operations it will drop down and show a list of pages. Is there a way to put your mouse over one of the pages and have a submenu/dropdown to the right? For example I want to add Forms under Operations and when you hover over forms it will give you a list of forms to click on.

Is it possible for the user to create a pirep, with them being able to choose the dep airport and arr airport. I need something like this, so there does not have to be a long list of schedules, they choose the flights themselves.. I would like them to have control over their flight. Thanks

Is there a way for only base managers to approve PIREPS of pilots that belong to that base? Currently any base manager can approve PIREPS of all pilots no matter if they are their base manager or not. Thanks!

HI guys, It has been a while since I have had to do anything with the coding or anything to do with the site ful stop, as it has been running along quite nice, so when I went to add a download to the list I forgot where I needed to add the link. The file has been uploaded to the server but for the life of me I cannot remember where to add the link, any helpers please? I just typed a LONG email, clicked send, and I got the 'Please enter a subject' error. And your email is now gone. Can't it stay on the same page, and have the error appear next to the subject box?

I'm running phpVMS on Mediatemple's Grid-service, where I have been a customer for 5 years now. I have always noticed latency with database-driven websites there and phpVMS is no different. I have the full navdata and airport SQL imported that I found here on the forum, so especially the schedule search is slow. However, we've started to get reports (and I have seen first-hand) of our custom kACARS crashing and throwing errors throughout our flights ("the underlying connection was closed"). This is probably one for Dave (Simpilot) After trying to use rank restricted aircraft in my VA which turned out to be highly contraversial and unpopular, i thought maybe there was another way of restricting an aircraft until n exam had been completed. So that the pilot needs at least some understanding of the aircraft before being able to pilot it. I'm thinking of before enabling an aircraft for each pilot after an examination award has been approved and awarded. i'm looking for a code which would query a pilots awards prior to approving a flight schedule using a particular aircraft. any pointers or am i barking up the wrong tree? Nabeel, every time my cron runs the maintenance.php it send out an email to all the inactive pilots, is there any way to restrict this so that inactive pilots dont keep getting the mail as i run this script about 3 times a week.

Hello, I am looking for some help/information about a project that I am working on. I am building a Virtual Airline Alliance website (html) not linked to any of the member airlines phpVMS systems. I want to set up a page similar to this ( http://www.staralliance.com/en/booking/flight-search/ ). I want to create a flight search module like this to show all of the members flights including airport changes(remember, this isn't plugging in to any phpVMS system at the moment and most likely wont). Hi! I did a few flights using phpVMS and Xacars today... I have my flights sheduled in phpvms together with the routes. But when I flew quite a few routes today, i noticed that xacars seems to report wrong routes... XAcars seems to have the correct routes when i start. But when i check my pireps in phpvms wrong route is reported... Anyone that has enountered this problem?? /Niklas

Hi Wondering if AIRAC updates are progressing any further (Ref. Hosting and Navdata Updates ) Around our neighbourhood the airways and fixes has changed a lot since the first version and we hope to se an update able airac soon so we can easily keep it updated.
