I am having trouble getting emails to applicants and pilots to work. I know this is not a fault of PHPVMS, but I'm hoping someone else has encountered this problem and can help me. The email is generated but is halted at my host saying that "email relaying" is not allowed. I'm sure I'm not configuring something correct. The email I set for myself as administrator is the same email I use for my domain email. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks very much in advance. Ron

Hey guys, Im just wondering how you add images to pages via the Admin Panel. For example, I added a Fleet page via the admin panel and I want to add an image but I don't know how to do it, I tried html code but that didnt work. Any suggestions? Thanks Tom

I tried to upgrade to the latest beta to solve the awards issue with an award showing for all pilots but had to revert back to the release version due to getting the error "statsdataclass doesnt exist in......" on every page that shows any stats (pilot count, total hours, etc..) ???

Ok - I'm Stumped... ??? I have added the pilot country flags to show next to the pilots name in the recent pilots list. It works fine on most of the pages of the site but on some pages the image does not show, just a place holder. Ok i've been puzzled over this one. I customized the profile_main.tpl in nvu and uploaded the code into the tpl on my hosting. It all came out fine on firefox as below with a white clear background, but i checked it on IE and it came out like this: Unsure of how to fix it ??? Anyone know why? Cheers. Hello Today, I've done my first flight. I have an problem with the finances in phpVMS. phpVMS is set up in lbs for fuel. The price is 0.45 euro / lb and the fuel surcharge is set to 5. I've done this flight. I used 7813 lbs of fuel ==> 7813 X 0.45 = 3515.18 euros. In phpVMS, when I see the finances reports, the fuel costs are -23 630 euros. It is the first flight done and there are not any other flight. What do I have to do to reduce the fuel costs (and to use the good price for the next flights)? Thanks Stéphane

Hi, I just noted that when scheduling flights, a minor glitch manifests itself in that Thursday is shown as R i.e. the weekdays get abbreviated as follows: Monday (M) Tuesday (T), Wednesday (W) Thursday ® Friday (F) Saturday (S) Sunday (Su). I have been browsing through the files and cannot seem to find where the abbreviations are located. Any help as to where I could find that file so I could modify Thursday to start showing up as Th?? I already have a rough idea about this, but I have to ask....how much headache are we talking to remove the code from the flight numbers? We only run one VA on this software so having the IATA on the front is redundant. Not only that, but it can be a bit confusing having pilot numbers and flight numbers with the same format. I took a look around the code and I'm not too sure that I am up to the task. :- It would have to edited out of the schedule pages, the pireps, the map and I don't even know what else...yet. hi Nadeel i have a few questions. 1 If a pilot is awarded an award the name of the award shows up in the pilot center but no picture.i have uploaded on to photobucket ans then used the html link for the picture. 2. Hello, Firstly, I'd like to thank the Developers for making such an awesome product. Now, to the issue. I've downloaded the full version, and uploaded the files to the root page of my site. When I attempt to go to www.-mysite-.com/install/install.php, or go to the First page(root), I get a white page with the black text: Index of /. Small suggestion for the next update, giving admin the ability to attach a flightplan file to each route added, allowing a pilot to download the associated flightplan for that schedule and load it direct into FS. Ability to upload multiple with small label for each would be ideal to allow uploading plans for different addons LVL-D 767 PMDG etc.

Hi Nabeel, I have an idea about adding something and I want to check with you about how to do it without getting in the way of updates. I want to restrict flights available to given pilots. I think that this can be done by adding a module (I think) and add to the database. How do I do this and stay out of your way so as not to get overwritten in updates? Thanks!

The route map module that was made by Nabeel called Modules and API Tutorial, Part 1 and 2 on the tutorials page is missing :'( I would really like to get it up and running on my site ASAP. Hello I am changing my web host. My new will be normally Olympe Network. It is normally compatible with phpVMS. The only problem is that the FTP has only got 100 mo of space. Is it enough to put phpVMS (this FTP will ONLY be for phpVMS) ? Thanks Stéphane
