Hello All, I just thought I would do a quick note to let everyone know that Virgin Atlantic Virtual is back up and running. We have been transferring our VA Site from wordpress to a PHPVMS based site with custom skin. We have already recruited 12 new pilots in the last couple of days and would welcome anyone from the flight sim community, new or experienced to sign up and join us. The website for the VA is www.virginatlanticvirtual.co.uk (not.com)! We are still putting final touches to the website porting all of our old site's content across such as liveries, charts etc but we're getting there. The operations system itself is fully functional so you can register, book…

As of today Ross Burke and Robert King officially leave us. With this Ross Burke has now requested we take down the website and so we are no longer allowed to use VASytems but the good thing out of this is we get to come back to phpVMS! We have successfully managed to intergrate our design into phpVMS but due to the move back to phpVMS we have now lost all pilots. If you was a pilot for us and wish to sign back up you can and will only take a few minutes as the Exam is no longer in use. Also if you have hours to transfer then please email them to transferhours@virginatlanticva.co.uk I would like to apologize for this and even more to those pilots who were mid-flight whe…

Hello all, My name is Andrew Drummond, I am happy to announce the launch of Virtual AirBerlin! At the moment we have no teamspeak server but we are trying our hardest to connect you as a pilot to the whole Virtual Air Berlin community. Throughout this year you will see a whole bunch of events, tours and much more! At Virtual AirBerlin, the most favourite season is Summer and i can promise you that this year we will have back to back group flights on networks like VATSIM, IVAO and FSCloud. Seeing as the airline is fairly new and not that much pilots we would like to give you the opportunity to become not just a staff member but the he…

Hey guys, I'm in the process of creating a VA(obviously...) and wanted to know your opinions. Which type of VA attracts more pilots?: A fully fictional VA A VA named after and modeled after a real VA A VA with a fictional name but one that flies real world callsigns Right now, I'm leaning toward the last choice. I want my pilots to have the freedom to use the callsign of the airline that they want, the skin of that airline, and have the freedom to fly to more airports than a fictional VA or single real world VA would fly to. I'd really like to know what you think, Cody

Hi all, I'm really enjoying viewing all of these awesome virtual airlines! I do have one of my own in progress, but more on that later. One of the things I hated from previous setups was getting the word out about the new airline. You can't run an airline without pilots! I have created a very basic online database to help keep track of the virtual airlines, and hopefully bring in some traffic. (and pilots!) I will be verifying sites once every few months to keep the links current. It's completely free to list your site. Here's the site: Virtual Airline Hangar http://vahangar.com Thanks for reading! Happy flying!

Hello airline owners, My name is Andrew and i am a so called Graphics Designer, I have seen on many airlines that some people are using just pictures of the company aircrafts as their event banner. Or using the real airlines logo on their virtual airline! I mean using just the aircraft as your banner is fine but pilots will not be attracted at something they can drive down the road to see. Same with the logo, they can just go on google images for the exact logo you are using. I have had many positions at virtual airlines, don't look at that in the wrong way, i have worked with many people and their desires on making airlines more fun for pilots which has been a su…

Hello Everyone, I'm glad to announce, that for the first time since 2009, Virtual Airline Jobs is now back online! After completely redesigning the website and adding more features, we are sure this will be a success. Whether you are a pilot browsing for a pilot position, or are looking for more in a VA, you can easily search to find a path that suits you. Attn VA Staff: We have made creating a job posting as simple as possible. Simply click on the "Post a Job" page to get started. Its 100% free and only takes a few minutes. It will take a few weeks before we are able to have an up-to-date database, but from there, it should be smooth sailing. Please feel free to giv…

Hey all, I just though it would be nice to promote a page I made right here on this forum. It's called Virtual Airline List and you can find it here. Basically, it's like a TOP list where people can vote for (or register) their favorite Virtual Airline. I hope to get as many as possible on board so all information is neatly collected in one central area with a quick glance at their respective descriptions (hover over banner), voting and jumping to the VA official homepage without any ties to any other homepage and / or organisation whatsoever. There is also a section which permits Virtual Airlines to submit weekly news on, a vote free list of Virtual Airlines and some…

Hi All, Our team will build a Virtual Airline, but we vacillate between two options, using the server host or the web host. Roughly how the best? We think the number of member will be great and we will also provide teamspeak3 for this VA. Give me the specification minimum and maximum for build the VA. King Regrads.

Virtual American Airlines has implemented another exclusive module from simpilotgroup. This new module from simpilotgroup creates an environment for staff members to manage pilots from outside of the main admin panel with all the main actions located in one screen and not allowing a staff member to change core data about a pilot. Adding and removing awards for a pilot, pilot acceptance, pilot status changes, sending PIREP warning emails, and pilot rank management are some of the options available. Pilot notes are kept for each pilot showing registration, approval, and every action performed within the pilot manager, as well as allowing the manager to add their own notes.…

When you come to the website http://www.virtualamericanusa.com/ you see (unless you get a 403 like me) a professional, well made site for a virtual airline, however the staff there is FAR from professional. I joined in December of 2011, before a rule had been implemented stating "19. I also understand that NO Member information will be shared outside of the VAA Community and that NO PILOT ID's will be deleted after an approved application." I never agreed to this rule, but the CEO says I did because I registered even though the rule was placed on the registration page AFTER I registered. I cannot have MY name removed from his website even though I would like to have it be…

Welcome to Virtual Aurigny Group (VA), and thank you for your interest! Virtual Aurigny is a new airline that started in 2015 completely from the ground up, to what you see today. Our vision is to have a realistic, professional virtual airline, and a place that is organized; plus, enjoyable and fun to use your flight sim, learn, and FLY! My standing policy, as I write this, is as long as this airline continues to operate, everyone will have a voice; whether it is from the newest trainee, to the executive staff, regarding the direction of VA. We strive to make this a pleasant experience for everyone and have a group that shares a common interest. The flight operation of …

Virtual Blue (VB) is a virtual airline organization based in the games of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and Microsoft Flight Simulator X. We are a community of aviation enthusiasts and real world pilots who wish to take their aviation experience to the next level, through the use of a virtual airline. Our virtual airline, Virtual Blue, simulates real world schedules and procedures of jetBlue Airways. Being a simulated version of jetBlue Airways in the flight simulation world allows our pilots to operate throughout the Americas, using their fleet of Embraer E190 and Airbus A320 aircraft. Using their established core values of safety, caring, fun, integrity, and passion;…
