After weeks of careful planning and hints going out we are proud to say Manchester Intl Airport (EGCC) is now open for a Hub for 1Air. This hub will be Headquarters for heavy aircraft that are unable to operate at Bristol(EGGD) such as the new Boeing 767 which will begin operation Today (1st September). This new hub will also help us expand to higher and more demanding market for passenger and possibly cargo operations which is in talks for later 2011 - early 2012. Air Serbia is proud to announce the further expansion of our operations. We have just dry leased two Fokker F-100 jets for an undisclosed period of time. We are planning these jets, now registered YU-AAS and YU-AAT, to fly on short to medium haul routes across the Mediterranean to relieve the Boeing fleet. Two more Fokker F-100 jets will also be joining the Air Serbia fleet some time during May, and are most likely to operate from Tivat (TIV) airport. In honor of celebrating the men and women who died for this country -- Virtual American Airlines will be joining a celebratory flight on VATSIM, Monday, May 30th, 2011 from 19z to 0300z, on Memorial Day 2011, it commemorates U.S. soldiers who died while in the military service, and on this day we will be showing our gratitude, by doing a flight to our Nations Capital (KDCA)from any departure point. Evening all... So I'm just after some ideas about my VA i'm working on. It's called FlightSim Group and the plan with this is to work with different VA and maybe share Schedules, pilots etc... and try to grow to something special. I'm still messing out with this and would love to see this baby get off the ground. I'm just putting it out there to be honest and any ideas people may have would be more than welcome.
