Dear pilots, First of all, let me introduce myself to this community. I'm Rui, 36 years old, I live in southern coast of Portugal, and I've created a new VA last year : FlyAlgarve VA, based in LPFR Faro airport. Our website : http://flyalgarveva.wifeo.com/ Now, I am looking for a flight logs system for my young VA... I found FSacars, kacars and VAFS. As we are a very young VA, we don not have money to spend in this kind of system, so I'm trying to introduce Kacars in our VA and our website but... to be honest, I do not understand anything about that, so I kindly ask some help. I don't know if our website is able to "receive" this kind of application... I don't know...…

Hi all, I need help with making kACARS available in our VA for tracking flights. I had put all the fields that you need to have when you create VA profile in kACARS and when I click Sign In it says like modyle and application doesn't match. Any help?

I am having errors with all acars tools that have been working before perfect. kacars free and Kacarsi are the two most used. And I have the issue about year and cannot find a solution. Kacars Free and the paid version of this give me a Connection error. And the paid version I receive an connection closed. For reference I have been using ccftracker. And I receive nearly the same error message. Login error - The connection to the VA site has timed out! Is that because something has changed either in Windows (previously using win 7) or on the host part? It is on shared hosting/ Ofcourse I run all as admin. Host is on PH…

hey Jeff i have a wierd error atm when bidding on a flight kacars cant find it annymore so when a pilot make a bid opens kacars and then select get flight number info it returns no flights found. also the setting is not search by flight so it schould find the bidded flight gr joeri

I am having a problem When i try and log in to my va from kacars i get the kAcars_free module error please contact your system admind... everything thing is set up right web address etc... but i cant log in to save my life I think i have the module in the right place im on windows 7 64bit fsx both are run as admin http://virtualunitedairlines.org

ok, one of my pilots has an issue. For some odd reason, whenever he files a pirep, it arrives on the system with numbers in the airfield fields instead of names? It only happens with him, and no one else. He has re-installed Kacars, and assured me everything his end looks ok, but i asm awaiting a screenshot to prove it as you can see from this log it has number where the airfield names should be.? any ideas why this happens?

I am having an issue with some kAcars PIREPs that seems to only be happening with one pilot (at the moment). The data coming through is incomplete, and not consistent. See attached. These are just two recent examples, but it's been occurring since he joined. So here's what I've done up until writing this thread: 1. Seeing as how it's only happening with one pilot, I immediately thought it to be an installation issue on his end (and it still might be). My staff and I followed up with him to understand his installation, and we don't feel he's done anything differently or erroneously from anyone else. I have the free vis of kAcars I try everything I know I try to do what other poeple said on the forums to try to fix but it is still not working I have the flights # check off in my user setting as shown When i get my Get flight Bit Info it is saying this and i do have the flight already bid in my web site and it is not finding it pleae help

Hey guys, I know that jeffrey K. is gone for the weekend so i thought, let's post my question here.. maybe you have had the same... In the free version you are able to click Charter flight and then change the aircraft and the number of passengers.. this isn't available in the paid version. I this correct or am i missing something? Hopefully you guys can help me out with this issue. Thanks! Lucas

Hell some help with passenger load. I am runing a flight club which uses propeller aircraft only. but on every flight i do its coming up on the Kacars "Taking off with 0 Passengers on board any clue why? I've noticed that kacars free registers constant pauses if you switch screens while flying, for instance from the flight to your desktop (flight sim is minimized). My sim doesn't pause when I do so and this clutters up the flight data with pauses that aren't really pauses at all. I really do see the need for this, or it is just an error.

Hello kacars was stirring in the fall and noticed a problem when the charter flight is put everything runs normally until the aircraft for the flight is that we do not have a choice if the flight is pax ok but if not the position to place the burden for is the only option pax would fit it my congratulations I wanted to have their intelligence

Hello I'm the new IT administrator at fsxfleet, we have on previous occasion purchased Kacar is veldtig adapted to us, I we have this week phpvms installed on a new server. I came across a strange problem where announced free version of Kacar function but not pay the version of Kacar. there are some out there who have experienced the same. This is the error when we are using the payware version of kacars: Website Warning Encountered: Notify system Administrator of the Switch error. Hello, we have problem with login to kAcarsFree. Our ailirnes code start with number (8F). When pilot use correct pilotID (for example 8F232) kAcars can't log. When use incorrect pilotID prefix (for example F232) kAcars log. Can you help me to solve this problem? Thanks! Peter

I have one aircraft stuck on KAcars but can't get rid of. I assume he must have locked up or something and I have tried to clear him from the Live Maps existence, but it won't go away?! I had this problem a while back with a pilot, can't remember how it was resolved. Finally got everything installed and ready to go but when i try to record the flight with the orange arrow it says plane not on ground even though it is and the brakes are set. Do I have to have engine off too? Please help! I am using a custom kACARS. Has anyone else had this problem? He is on Windows Vista 64 bit, using FSX.

Due to the short falls of FSX and from time to time when FSX freezes and you end up with a CTD after a long flight. It would be nice if kACARS was able to auto save the flight from time to time to prevent this very frustrating event. Would be a nice addition.. Wood

I have installed and set up kAcars according to SpiritAir's VA instructions ann i keep getting the following error message "Notify System Administrator of Switch Error Data Not Received Switch=verify" I have emailed the CEO of the VA numerous times and not getting any help so I cam on here hoping someone can help me get it to work. These are the instuctions sent to me and I followed them exactly and still getting the error. kACARS:_ I recommend using the kACARS flight tracker. If you do not know how to configure it, here ya go. My KAcars showed this in the log: "[08:08] - Mid Air Refuel! 29094AGL" Now, there was NO such refuelling. Just wonderring what would possibly trigger that? Also, it showed a negative fuel use as well, for the entire flight?! I assume this is somehow a PMDG incompatibility of some sort!? Anyone else have odd logging issues? That is the FIRST and ONLY one I have seen so far, with KAcars.

Kacars seems to be working fine for most of my pilots but 1 guy having problems. He is on windows 7 64 bit his kacars 1.0.0.8 logs in but when he clicks get flight bid it returns no flight found. Tried to troubleshoot installed new version on site and module then switched back nothing worked. So tried for him to find flight by putting in flight number it worked but on live map his name didnt show but flight number showed and had like 10 entries, and the pirep wasnt sent when flight ended. Hes using xacars right now but would prefer to have him on kacars.

I have managed to setup and use kACARS and it works well until you start FSnav that is another problem. but here is the one i would like an answer too.
