Please disregard, just saw that there is a ticket for it. Chuck CYXU

I am just wondering if I missed something here...running Beta 812 and on my Admin schedules page, I can't get it to display more than 20 schedules. ??? There are something like 800 there but it just shows 20 with no way to pull any more up to view. I can use the filter to pull up flights that I want to edit but I cannot view more than 20. I checked the admintemplatesops_schedules template figuring there was a limit placed there but I saw nothing. Chuck CYXU

Hi Folks, I was just wondering how many of you are using the live fuel pricing? If you are using it, how do you find it is working out? To date, I have been using a generic fuel price but would like to move to the live pricing. I just was wondering if it seems to be going alright at this point or what is there that I need to watch out for. Thanks, Chuck CYXU

I'm not sure I would call this a bug, just a quirk of the export procedure. If you have added any notes that have double spaces or returns it really messes up the export. We had one flight in particular that we added notes that included station loading for a fuel usage challenge last month and when I did an export, that flight filled about six rows in my excel sheet. Just something to be aware of when adding notes. Chuck CYXU

Pilot Ranks and Aircraft usage restrictions?
wrenchca replied to AustinWilliams's topic in Support Forum
Too bad there wasn't a way to only display flights on the schedule page that the pilot is currently ranked to fly. They have to be able to bid on the flight first before they fly. If they were unable to even see the higher class flights, it would have the same effect. Also, this way they wouldn't waste their time flying a flight only to have it rejected by the system. -
Is it just me or does the font or resolution on the Admin section seem much larger? ??? Maybe I am just using the wife's glasses instead of my own! ;D Chuck CYXU

We had a pilot that was not receiving emails from phpVMS. After a brief investigation, I found that the email field in the pilot table was set to varchar(32) and his email address was 34 characters long. I have since set it to varchar(50). Can this be looked at in a future update Nabeel? Chuck CYXU

Instead of Arrival field in the stats, perhaps aircraft type would be better. Have a 92 ft/min landing in a Cessna is one thing, but a 92 ft/min landing in a 747 is another. Chuck CYXU

Ooops, spoke too soon...they are still different sizes. Chuck CYXU

The aircraft png images but I see they are fixed in this next beta. Good work, Chuck CYXU

You are aware that the map icons range from 35x35 pixels to 50x50 pixels? : Not a big issue if you only have one pilot online at a time but when you get three or four, it is quite noticeable. Chuck CYXU

I find that I cannot add comments to the pireps when approving them. Actually, I don't believe I could with 770 either now that I think about it. Chuck CYXU

So I just discovered... : Chuck CYXU

Map not showing in Internet Explorer. Works good in Firefox though. Chuck CYXU

How about a button on the live map that when pushed will clear the polyline and control tower images without reloading the page? Chuck CYXU

Will do Boss! ;D By the way, tried to comment out the cutoff time and lost my pilots off the map. Tried to delete that line and lost my pilots off the map. So for now, I changed the 12 to a 1. Chuck CYXU

12 hours? Yikes!!! Saturday night is one of our busiest nights. That poor map is going to be an absolute mess in about 3 hours. Most of the pilots tonight will be flying multiple flights as well. I really need to get this registration issue fixed or I will have to try to revert to a previous build. Chuck CYXU

Hi Nabeel, Using the latest beta and I am having issues accepting new pilots. As soon as I double click to accept them, it goes to the pilot list. They are still in the list for pending. As well, the map does not seem to be erasing ended flights. I have it set for 30 minutes in the config and they are still there. I even changed it to 1 and hours after they are still there. I have not been able to send my pireps to VA Central either. Something about the API server but I am just assuming that is an issue on your end. Would really like to see the registration fixed chief. No, FSAcars returns fuel in pounds or kilos. So if it is set to pounds in the FSAcars ini file that would give you an error of 6.7 times. (Jet A is around 6.7 lbs per US gallon) For this reason, I have set my fuel costs to $1 at all airports for now. This gives us a fuel cost of around $6.70 a gallon. At least, that is the way it seems to be working out. Chuck CYXU

I think you will find that your Miami price is per US gallon or about 6.7 lbs. I think you may wish to take a closer look at your fuel calculations Nabeel. As it stands, using real world fuel costs, it may very well be calculating weight using the cost per gallon. As far as the fuel costs being in the millions....stop parking by the default fuel station in FS at the end of your flight. If your tanks fill automatically before you stop your log and you end up with more fuel at the end of your flight than when you started your log, FSAcars has a conniption. Chuck CYXU

I believe it is true false for using the transfer hours in ranks. I was unable to find any setting that pertains to the transfer hours in the signature section.
-
Hi Nabeel, I did an update back on the 13th of September using the latest Beta at that time. I have noticed that the transfer hours are not being added to the signature. I am almost positive that they did before. Cheers, Chuck

Is anyone else having issues trying to edit flight reports from the admin section? I can make changes, for example if someone selects the wrong aircraft, but when I try to save the edited report, it does not accept the edits and goes back to the previous entry. Just me or has anyone else seen this?

This is usually caused by the flight level being incorrectly entered in FSAcars. If a pilot is flying at 30,000 ft, make sure they enter 30000 in the flight altitude box in FSAcars. If they put a value that is higher than their actual flight level, it will always think you are still climbing since you have not reached your target atitude. Something to test anyways.
