tobyrice01
Here is my fleet page: http://bluehawkvirtual.net/index.php/fleet I'm making a new site btw, so it's all pretty crummy I added the Piper Cub, Cicada and other aircraft to the fleet a while back, but now I want to get rid of them, or at least remove them from the fleet page. How can I do this? I've searched and searched, but nothing worked. I know people say that I can go to the phpvms_fleet of my site, but I do not know where that is located. Any help is appreciated! vcal
All I do is edit those and put in new data for the replacement. You can't actually remove aircraft, just edit and make them active.
tobyrice01
Yes, I can do that. But I have more aircraft I don't need than the ones I want to add
vcal
Edit the aircraft and uncheck the Enable box.
tobyrice01
Ok, but how should I edit it? Leave all fields blank?
vcal
That may do nothing and leave the aircraft active. Uncheck the box and click the edit aircraft at the bottom of the page.
tobyrice01
I know, I did that. The aircraft is still on the Fleet page. How do I get it OFF of the fleet page?
vcal
What I suggested works for me. It gets greyed out in the admin side.
tobyrice01
Yeah, it's greyed out on the admin but not the actual public website.
vcal
No idea. Maybe someone else can help you more with it.
tobyrice01
Ok Thanks anyway
Moderators servetas Posted November 5, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted November 5, 2014 If you disable the aircrafts from your admin center, you will not be able to see them on your fleet table. It is not suggested to delete an aircraft from the database because this will might cause problems with your va's statistics/pireps/etc.
vcal
A thought. Is your fleet page a page you created or is it part of a custom skin?
tobyrice01
I am using the "Extended Fleet" mod located here: http://zumeweb.com/en/virtual-airlines-free I'm also using the "Arctic" skin.
Moderators servetas Posted November 5, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted November 5, 2014 Have you tried to disable an aircraft? Does it remain on the list after you have disabled it?
tobyrice01
Yes, and Yes.
Moderators servetas Posted November 5, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted November 5, 2014 If you have disabled the aircraft and it remains on the list, you will have to get in touch with the developer of the module as this is not correct. magicflyer
The module has been updated, which addresses this bug. Thanks for notifying me.
tobyrice01
Yes! It works now, thanks! Though make sure to upload it to the Zumeweb site. I first downloaded it there and it did not work until I got the Github download. Works great now!
