I've never been that much into the financial stuff of a VA, but it occurs to me there is one form of expense we don't have. One that is a percent of the gross revenue...for taxes and the like. I'm not sure, but I don't think it would be a major coding problem.

I've been looking at some of the pireps and I am seeing things like this. Fuel Price 34582.1 This is the price of fuel, $ per lbs I have been going with the default price whe I creat routes, I'm assuming that the figure shown is the total cost of fuel, not the price per lb.

I just imported some routes, and it would appear that the calculated distances are a bit excessive. For example the distance from PHNL to RJAA is 3886 miles, but the system is calculating 17944. It looks like the problem occurs as one crosses the international date line. I need some ideas for the simplest way to disolay rosters, hubs, fleet and routes on our site. As administrator, I can see all these things, but to diisplay the information on the site, I need to do something that someone who is no a php proficient person can cobble together. Hello all, Working on my virtual airline. I will like to know some stuff. ¿Why do we admins have to creat a shedule, if when we are flying with FSacars, the route is not show when we get online at FSacars? Do we first have to shedule the flight somewhere, so we can have to complete information in the FSacars? Do pilots have access to the Sheduling from the VA ? Where can they access to it. Thanks,

Dear readers, FlyZen has recently come back from the dead and I have once again begun the development process. But if you haven't seen my previous logo's, then you don't know that I'm not Picasso when it comes to graphical development. My talents lie with SSS and other web based development. As you may know, my VA's website has been down for a few months now. I have been trying free hosting companys non stop and trying to install phpVMS on the hosting but non of them seem to work. I can get the first installation page when you fill in the MySQL database info but can't get further than that. It doesn't allow me to. I don't know if its an issue with phpVMS, but it worked a while ago so I am assuming not. Ok recently I have come once again upon the flying tigers group. If you arent familiar with them they create and run simulated real world airlines such as cathay, JAL etc. Now the only difference that I have seen between their sites and other simulated real world airlines is a notice at the bottom ( For Flight Simulation purposes only. hello nabeel before we found phpvms we have tride many logsytems for our airline. on we have used and was build in in our own vms likwise software was xacars www.xacars.net maby something for the future to implement into phpvms and the nice part of this tracking software is ist alsow compatible with xplane. gr joeri

Well as i was checking out the backend part of phpVMS i noticed how you can add custom sidebars and basically change the whole inner layout to your website. If you go to your Core>>templates and navigate threw there, You can change the layout or add anything to your pages. It came in handy for me because i needed to add a teamspeak block. Be sure to backup anything you edit though.

Hi Guys, Just incase any of you haven't heard, AVSIM was recently taken down by hackers, which in effect destroyed their complete forum, and downloads databases. These guys have been running for 13 years now.
