Hi Guys I am fairly new here, only discovered this software this week, and i have been frustrated and amazed ;D pure brilliance. Anyway, I am still porting information into this new databse, but I have focused on designing a skin. This skin is not based on anything I know of, so its still needs a tweak here and there. I have tried my hand at skinning (although it was with an older version of PHPVMS) and I pretty much fail. I am willing to pay for someone to setup a good working PHPVMS site. My failed attempt was www.westairregional.org which will give you an idea of what I'm looking for. I have the space, bandwidth and SOME PHP / html knowledge but I can't seem to get it right. That, and I don't know CSS. If anyone is willing to take this job on for me, please let me know. I have been trying to get this VA off the ground for a while.

I have found a hosting company and have been talking to the CEO who is an aviation fan himself, so I now have free hosting for 3 months for the VA and then if I have enough traffic after 3 months funding will hopefully continue and my VA will be a partner with this web hosting company, well a different company owned by the same man I think. But I have watched all the skinning tutorials and have some graphic software but neither dreamweaver or virtual studio/basic or what ever software the admin was using. And have no CSS or coding skills really. I wondered it somebody could kindly make one for me, I have no idea on how they work so I will post some things up if anybody co…

Hi guys! Got 2 issues here. First is when I try to bid a flight i'm being shown a blank white page and the flight doesn't bid. When I try filing a PIREP at index.php/pireps/filepirep, and enter a flight number that does not belong to a flight between the airports selected, it gives me an error message saying that.Is there a way to make a custom PIPER possible? So a pilot will be able to select a departure and arrival airport (or better yet just enter ICAO codes for any airports), enter a flight number, and that'll go into the logs. Thanks!

Hi First off I would like to introduce myself.... I'm Vincent and i am the COO/Webmaster for the newly launched VA, JavelinAir. I have never used phpVMS before nor am I good with css.. So far I have managed to setup a teamspeak and forum for our VA and install the phpVMS on our website (www.javelinair.com), do the necessary adjustments such as adjusting the callsigns, writing a welcome message, and etc.... Now my biggest problem is creating a skin for it, adding 2 modules (teamspeak and forums). I have watched the tutorial videos and still find it so hard to do this. Hey Guys, I am in need of some assistance with a good skin. Here was one skin I was testing with: http://vertexva.byethost15.com/, but the template was very annoying to skin. I like the frontpage layout, though and would love to find a skin similar. I would try to create my own, but I am not that experienced to do so. Any good suggestions of an appropriate template for this? Or could somebody help work on one for me? I can skin, so a template is enough, not the completed .tpl files for the site. I was wondering if anyone could assist me in building a flight search form for the main page. http://web.archive.org/web/20011204175227/http://www.ata.com/ The example above from an old ATA site is good. Plain and simple. Has a drop down box for airports and everything. I would like the date/pax still there for eye candy. Any help would be appreciated!

hey, pulling my hair out trying to get the footer to stick to the bottom of the page when there is little content, and stay at the bottom of the content when there is lots.... I have pretty much modified the crystalsidebar template so am using the same CSS and div names.... I have tried every option that I could find on websites, but to no avail. any help would be greatly appreciated.... I am so fed up with it, i almost took my stapler to the screen to make it stay put !

Ok, after much work, and a very steep learning curve, and LOTS of help from y'all I have finally got a skin that I think i can work with. All thats left ot figure out is the CSS code that effects the headers when it comes to padding....and a couple of other things... BUT I wanted to thank everyone for all the help.. http://www.pakakadventures.com/vms the airline isn't running yet, but if y'all want to see what all your help has created, there it is. Keep in mind that it is still a work in progress....

How hard would it be to create a "website" really a skin that would have the basic layout of the image below. (Please note that the image below is not the final site, just a layout map.) The only thing I'm worried about is the scrolling information/news bar.
