Hello y'all, My DB is hosted by a very nice and generous member as my provider does not support InnoDB. I would like to try to have it hosted by my provider and he gave me some info as how to do it. The requirement for PHPVMS to work is: PHP 5.2+ MySQL 4.1+ with InnoDB support All is ok for my provider except the InnoDB support but he told me that it is possible to have the InnoDB converted in something called Myisam. He said also that everything should work just fine after the conversion. My questions are: - Is it true that the DB can be converted in this format? - Is it true that PHPVMS will work just fine after the conversion? Thanks for your help. Alex

I set up my ranks so all hours required are 0 and I'm going to assign them manually. When a new pilot signs up, their rank is newhire, but there is no newhire rank and no icon? I changed something somewhere to rank autoupdate false. Any help apprecieated, thanks

Several of our aircraft are in Category III rating. When a pilot reaches 80 hrs they are supposed to be able to view and bid for these Category III aircraft. However, pilots are complaining that even with 90+ hours, they still can not see category III aircraft. When I change their category to Cat II, they appear normally. I double-checked the aircraft category is set right, and that the aircraft is actually in the schedule. All seems good, but they still can't see them when they are listed as category III. Any ideas why?

Looking at the Information page of a FedEx flight that was done, I noticed that this is not showing correctly: This should say 222846 lbs of cargo on board shouldn't it? I have the flight scheduled as "C" not "P" and I am using Custom kAcars. Thanks - Jeff

Is there a way to populate the arr and dep dropdowns just with the icao's from the schedules? I have loaded in to the airports table the sql file from Dave and it lists all the fields which is massive so i want to restrict the population of teh dropdowns from the schedules. Would appreciate any guidance on this.

I am wanting to get rid of the GOOGLE map that shows up on the flight schedule view page. I want to replace it with the Great Circle Map one. What is the correct code to show the flights' route on GCM instead of GOOGLE? I think that I will need to change the MODULE to be able to remove the GOOGLE map itself, but what code do you place in the public_html/core/templates/schedule_details.tpl?

Hello All A while ago I posted a topic regarding a way to insert the A/C into the bids table and I figured out that part and was able to insert that value into the table. Now a new problem is come up and that's when I hit the "Add to bid" link it's supposed to change to "Bid Added" but it doesn't and when I look at the DB the bid was actually added with no problem. Some people were helping me out but they suddenly stopped responding and left me in the dark and I believe that has something to do with the browser but still can't figure out where the problem is. Please help with this issue I really appreciate it. Thanks

Gents when I got in from work this morning I was notified by my server Powweb.com that my service for two phpvms websites was suspended. This is the email: I just recently added the aval site to the server the phpvms site has been running for a year with no issues. I was told here on the forums that you could have multiple phpvms accouts on a server. They in an attempt to reactivate these accounts their going to delete the action.php files. What are these files doing that is overloading a server that I have unlimited bandwidth with. Hi everyone. I am having troubles with the acars map and I don not now how to solve it. It happens that the list of pilots who are flying shows the pilot name and the number flight many times instead of showing it one. Does anyone know how can i correct this? I'm currently running the trial version of FS Flight Keeper and everything uploads fine and works great thanks to me following Keith's tutorial on how to set it up correctly. The two things that aren't working are the uploading of images and position reports. A quick test flight shown here shows what I mean, a blank google maps, bar the departure and arrival airfield: http://www.unityvirtual.net/index.php/pireps/viewreport/1218 Does anyone else have this issue? Does anyone know if this is due to the limitation of the trial version? I'll be buying the full version within the week, so hopefully will figure it out for sure then.

Hi everyone On the ACARS map the players aircraft position icon is flickering. When you click on the icon a bubble is suppose to appear but doesn't seem to and when it does it disappears straight away. I have done a search for this on here but didn't find anything also tried a re-install of phpvms but nothing has changed. The icon moves and updates the status correctly but just flickers? Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi again well i really screwed up now. I accidentally deleted my Admin privileges and put in Hub Managers Privileges in the Admin section of phpvms is there some way to change this or do i need to start all over? Thanks, Skylar
