Nabeel, please forgive me as I know we have discussed this in the past. I seem to be having an old issue with the map. Right now, I am currently doing a 206nm flight from KMCI-KSTL in a B1900D When I started the flight and was on the ground, it showed me enroute. Looking at the nm left in flight and time remaining, the time remaining is correct, but nm is off. Check this out. 5629.0 nm / 29.165 For some reason, it refuses to let go of that number as far as the nm goes. No matter what flight it is or what I am flying it in. I am not sure if Passengers does it or ACARS, but I do know it was happening with XACARS and now I seem to have this issue with FSFK. Did I miss…

Hiya, Before I carry let me apologise, I really do not know how to do any coding stuff etc for my VA. I am quite happy doing the admin side of things like adding flightplans, aircraft and all the other stuff that needs doing but actually coding stuff into the website is not my cup of tea! So, I will probably be asking lots of questions in this thread until I am happy with my site, apologies again! I do search for things to try and find answers but sometimes the answers are not just available to what you actually require! so, here goes! I have an idea for a new feature ;-) If we log all the costs of flying with phpvms, what is with the maintance of the birds? My little suggestion: Maintance for smaller AC: all 50hours The bigger ones and heavy: all 100hours You can open maintance points (airports)as the hubs in the control center. When time is coming for a check >45/90hours, as admin you have a possibility to see in a AC list the flown hours of the aircrafts, for createing routes to airports with maintance options. When the "eagle has landed" at this point, a procedure automatically happens and the fixcosts are charged. New party for the next 50/100 hours. If not, the system grounds the aircraf…

Good morning, one of my pilots received, while trying to send the PIREP via XAcars, the information "No Flight/Log for this Pilot". Well, the flight was limited to day 2 and he tried to send the PIREP on day 3. Everything was booked on day 2 .... Is this the problem? How to fix that one? Please note, that we try to create a flightplan as real as possible ... so eacht aircraft can handle a max of 24 hrs a day. That´s the reason why we limited flights at several days. Hello, I just updated to phpVMS version 934 (I think, whatever the latest full version is) and in general settings, there is no field for the Google API Key, so none of the google maps screns are seen anymore. Is there a way to fix this or manually enter it into one of the php files or something? Thanks! -- Cory

Hello The phpVMS is fantastic and deserves our support: Advertising etc etc. With it, we can do a lot of innovation in VAs But there is a limitation that I believe is easy to remove. The financial part is not completely separated at the VA. With this separation (including the salaries of pilots and added expense), could do much of anything new.

Hey all, I have just recovered from a hard drive crash ( I had the seagate 1TB drive and was unaware it needed a firmware upgrade ), ANYWAYS/... a while ago I read a post on the programs to use so that I could basically see changes on my system before uploading them. It was a server thing. I really want to load that again, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was called. I have searched the forums again but can't seem to find it. I noticed that the lookup server failed to provide a country code on a few of my airports, but when I went to edit them, I could enter the data, and got the message that the airport had been edited. The only problem is the data I entered isn't there. anyone having a similar problem? I searched "edit airport, but didn't see anything.

Ok, i have one problem with one of my ferind's virtual airlines. When i go to the timetable and it shows two routes. Then i head to the admin panel, and went to the admin timetable, & it shows alot of flights. The flights in the admin are fully enabled. What is it causing?

I have been trying to add a custom pirep field from the admin side. I can create the field with a text area. The field is called Tracker URL with a blank text area to insert a url. I already have one custom field called "unscheduled flight" which is a simple drop down box with yes,no. Once i have added the second "tracker URL" field all looks fine in the admin side, however when i go to the user side and try to file a pirep. I get ONE custom field which is a mix of my two fields ie a field name of "Unscheduled flight" and a text area. I am on .930 I have tried searching on custom pirep fields but have not found anything similar to this yet? Alex

We all know that when we add extra pages to our site from the admin panel, it puts that page name in bold at the top left. I want to get rid of that for this one page I am working on. Can it safely be gotten rid of? I think it just puts the feel of the page out of wack. I went to editor on that page in the admin and my extra code shows up but not that. So I figured I might try to cheat the system and go into core/pages and edit the page directly and as well, it shows my code that I added but nothing extra. for an example of what I am saying, please look at http://thunderva.com/index.php/pages/test Notice how it just looks wrong?

i will shortly explain what i developed and what is my problem. first of all, its the dispatch system (check addons board). this dispatch system works like a real one and includes some more tables to the database. this table includes the routes (but only depicao, arricao, id and distance). Once the dispatcher adds a route to a pilot, it will be created in the phpvms_schedules (so normally, there are all flights stored in but we dont store it there, we just keep it there as long as the flight is not yet flown) my "index" is in this case the bidid so lets for example say, we have 2 pilots, both fly the same route (just different equipment, date or what so ever) there will b…

Hello, gentlemen! This is my first post in this forum. I'm am the CEO of Brisa VA, from Brazil (www.brisalinhasaereas.com, several language versions ). We're setting phpVMS up, after two years using VAFS. We are very happy with what we already got from phpVMS, although there are a lot of things to do yet. But there is a bug stealing a lot of time our staff. All the pilots who try to register in our site recieve the same error message: "This e-mail is already in use!" How can I limit the amount of flight plans (schedules) listed when searching for flight plans? before I added schedules to my site that was NOT a problem, had only a few of them... BUT! Now I have added more than 1,300 schedules and the list is just Too BIG!!! I would like to list in chuncks of 25 for example, or 12, maybe 15 in a page format at a time, not all of them. Is it posible in phpvms to do this, and where is the config file to do it? local.config or app.config? have been searching them, but can´t find any reference to accomplish this.

Hi all does anyone else have a problem with fuel calculations? When a flight is logged the fuel is charged at 0 even though in the local.config.php it's 5.10. Is there somewhere else that it should be specified? Cheers EDIT: Scrub this it started working! However something tells me I haven't used £2800 of fuel travelling 40nm! If I had 971 lbs to start and landed with 626 lbs, how does that get seen as "566 fuel used" - is this 566 units? I've set the LiquidUnit setting to "3" for lbs, so shouldn't it say 345 fuel used?
