When I try to go to a different page in the admin panel I can't. When I scroll over the options at the top the sub menus pop up, then when I move the mouse down to choose one of the options( ex. Operations, then schedules) the submenu goes away immediately after my mouse moves away from the main word(ex. operations). I hope I explained this problem well enough. Thanks!

I just downloaded phpVMS and tried to install it. I get a Error:404 Page does not exist meesage when I try to run install.php, I configured all of the configuration files so I don't know what the problem is. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, im trying to list on the pilots page the last date that a pilot flew, i have been playing with the <?php echo PilotData::GetFieldValue($pilot->pilotid, '*********'); ?> but not sure if that can work. Any sugestions please. Thanks

Hello, I'm considering using phpVMS and was wondering if their are manger roles built into the system? An example would be: A HR role to take care of all the new pilots applications, hiring, firing, etc. A hub manager role to take care of their hubs PIREPS? I'm assuming we can have hubs? Or does the system only allow one person to do all this. If it doesn't I think it would be cool to have the above added to help the flow of things so one person doesn't get over worked. ;D Thanks!

Nabeel, I am in a process of building a virutal aviation. I am novice to php even if I managed to build a website for the VA. I am struggling with the following notices and I can't really figure out what they mean. For the moment I am using an exra computre as a server to practice the whole thing befor I appload it to a real host. I am using php 5.2 and mysql 5.1 in appache 22.8 server. Okay, you know I said before that pilots have troubles logging in? (cookies issue) Well, one of my pilots is experiencing something weird. He can login and his settings are at what they should be, but sometimes he has troubles logging in. Nothing is wrong with me, though. Any solutions?

Hi, Your system is currently on trying on our website, but it unfortunately doesn't answer to our wishes because it's planned for the virtual airlines proposing fixed and scheduled flights. Our virtual airline is based on the charter, and our leitmotiv is: “all around the world, where you want to fly”. It means that our piloes has free to fly towards the destinations they want to. The problem is that your system doesn't envisage the possibility of the charter flights and obliges to create a scheduled flight before being able to submit a PIREP. Hi Guys, Can anyone help ? When I display the live map a pilot who was online 2 days ago and logged off still shows on the live map. It may well have been a bad disconnect from FSacars, and has not closed the plan. How do I clear this redundant flight and is there an automatic clear down in the event of tyhis happening again ? Hey im working on this new look for the site and when i look under the public profile for a pilot, none of the information shows up..? Same thing when logged in and looking in the pilot profile. Why would it be doing this when i haven really changed any styles...?

Hi nabeel, I discovered a point which is a bit confusing while using firefox or IE : When entering a PIREP manually, firefox limits departure airport to the airports in existing schedules (OK) but IE does not... Is it possible to remove departure airport limitation as we would like our pilot to do some charter flights... and choose their own departure airports... ? Cheers !

How can I set up forums on my VA's PHP VMS site, I am currently using Joomla as my CMS, and I need a stable forum setup brfore i can transfer to phpVMS! By the way, PHPVMS IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO OUR VA!!!

Hi Nabeel, We are having issues adding more than one aircraft to the database. We can manage to add two Embraer 190's to the database but we have to change the Name/Type to something else otherwise it will not allow us to add it. Hi all Our new website for Air Southwest Virtual is now well underway with this excellent VA management system, for which I am very grateful as it has saved me hours of coding to date. However, we are currently testing the PIREP system, and I've found that it asks for the time to be entered as hours.minutes, for example 1.3 would be 1 hour 30 mins, but on the pilot centre page it says I have 2.85 hours left until reaching our next rank. Not sure you can have .8 of an hour if you follow the rule above, as it would be 80 mins, so technically I have 2 hours 85 mins left. Is this the correct action? Also, is there any way to force the "Select Airline" box to the airline,…

Hi all, I hope somebody can help me. I installed the latest version today (fresh install). All went well there, but..... When I use my XP computer with IE6 the admin menu is compressed to the side bar, but on my vista one it is fine. Any ideas ? Lastly, when I try to add an airport I put in the ICAO code and click lookup, It doesnt do a lookup and at bottom left I get "error on page". I checked the lookup site and that seems to be working. Now I am stuck, any help would be appreciated. IO like the program, very nice Thanks John

Hey i was wondering is there anyway you can make your airline code 4 letters?? Cause as of right now i tried to make mine 4 and it only accepts 3...Could i easily change this or prolly not..even if its a little hard it would be nice to use 4 letters..

Hi, not sure if its just me or not but when a pilot registers he gets a mail saying he will be informed when his account is active, that works fine but when you approve the registration no mail is sent out confirming his status.

There seems to be a bug in the ini file for FSACARS, since it generates an ini file like this example: CompanyICAO=GLD [...] PilotNumber=GLD0001 where it should be PilotNumber=0001. Cheers, Rodrigo Ventura goldenjet-va.org

I noticed there is a contact form template, but how can I use it? I have been editing the main template, and can't seem to include it (Although I guess I could just copy it all into a PHP File and include('contact_form.php') but it seems like there would be an easier way if you included it. Or I guess I could code my own, I know enough php for that. And the template posts the data to index.php, is this correct? Does index handle the form data or is that just being a placeholder for me to put my own page to handle it.

Hi is there an easy way of listing a pilots last arrival in their profile? What im trying to do is have pilots follow on from their arrival airport as in the real world but on different equipment. So ay one day i do EGKK to EHAM then when i come back id start from EHAM which would be listed in my profile as a reminder. Thanks
