Hello Suddenly I am unable to fly flights with KACARS none of our members can fly anylonger. People are able to login successfully however when they press "GET FLIGHT BID INFO" they get in result "No Flight Found" depsite they have flights in bid. Please assist asap. Thanks & Regards

hello, Yesterday during a flight I noticed that kacars suddenly showed "connection error". This sometimes happens but usually goes away after a short while. This time, even after landing, 8 hours later, it was still there. I started a new instance and when I tried to log in I get the switch=verify error. Now, Im absolutely sure the url is correct. After all, I logged in yesterday morning and started a flight, without changing it! Also, it's not my PC: i switched off the windows firewall and AV, just in case, and also installed it on another machine. It doesn't work on either machines. I'm suspecting my service provider tinkered with some settings, …

On Friday I would like to release the next version of kACARS_Free. I have a couple people testing it out right now. Anyone else interested please PM me. I am currently using kAcars Free v1.0.0.9 and I had to reinstall my entire system (PC). I installed kAcars Free 1.0.0.9 and noticed the following: I can create VA Profiles in the Options | VA Profiles menu dialog. There I see two listed, Template and my own VA entry. When I chose mine I see the Base URL, Pilot ID and Password on the dialog, so far so good. The problem is if I click on the X button it exits which is understandable. However, if I click on the button that has the floppy icon "Save Edited Profile" rather than exiting the dialog and set the Main controls to the chosen profile, it simply leaves the VA dropdown to the VA I chose but clears out the Base URL, Pi…

OK guys, maybe i have found an kAcars error... or not... i dunno. problem is this: I have got one airline that works like a charm. landing rate ok, finances are ok... no issue at all. Now. I have added a second airline (cargo division). I select a new flight that i created for this airline.. i fly it using kAcard (custom !) and when i finish the flight, the landing rate is shown but the finances are at ZERO. I did select the cargo capacity of the airplane when adding it. i also selected "cargo" flight for this specific route. Does anyone know about this or can help me solve this issue? Thanks Lucas

Hey, When i am flying, and sometimes in the middle of my flight, the kACARS is gone. Like i never ever closed out the program. when i landed and, i was looking over the place in my computer and saying where the heck is kACARS running, and i could not find it. It's been like that since my last three flights and i had to manualy file the pireps. I start kACARS, prepare it, then fly................. and gone................ It vanished without my permisson. what is going on?

I am a bit confused. In my VA I am using currently the 1.0.0.9 version. However, when I visit the FS Products website it says the latest kAcars Free version is 1.0.1.6 thus newer than mine. However, when I chose the Download link of the FS Products site it brings me to the download page of phpVMS and there it downloads version 1.0.1.1 instead. So, which one is really the last version?

We are using Custom kAcars, but I have a general situation about charters. I haven't had much luck with replies on the general support forum. The problem we are having is that all charter flights have zero gross/revenue! I checked the pireps table in the database and it shows the flighttype as 'P' which means passenger flights, not charter ('H'?) My question, are charter flights supposed to have flight type 'H' in database or is 'P' normal? 1) Can someone please check their VA pirep table and see if the charter flights are having their flighttype set to "H" and not "P"? 2) and In general, does PHPVMS handle charter flights "out of the box" in terms of calculating the…

I don't mean to question your skills at all, Jeff, but can you explain why kACARS_Free has to be run as Administrator on Vista or Windows 7? As a Linux user, I have been taught to avoid running programs as root like the plaque. Isn't this a security hole, running as admin, or am I mistaken?

Hello One of my pilots has a serious malfunction with his kacars. When he saves the profile he gets a big fat exception, see attachment and details below. What is says is that the access to european.xml (where the config info is stored) is denied. he runs it as admin though. He first had it installed in the default install path, I then advised him to put it in a sub directory in fsx somewhere but that didnt change anything. I'm not familiar enough with win7 to tell where its going wrong. The file seems ti exist. I wonder if it could be an issue with the space in the pathname? thanks in advance for providing any clarity! Hi We've setup a test site for our airline as we are making the move to a new provider. Our worldAcars doesnt work on the test site. Ive edited the URLs in settings to our new URL. I can login, get my flight bid, start my flight, end it, however i cant file my PIREP. I just get "Try Again" in red where it usually reads "PIREP Filed". I also don't show up on the map or flight board while im flying. We are using a customized version of ACARS (by FS-Products). IEverything was copied from the old cpanel to the new. Is this even supported anymore? Thanks, Robbie
